SENIOR EMPLOYEE COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER (business partner)-FINANCIAL SERVICES

BASED LONDON

£65-75K bonus,bens

Our client a leading global financial services organisation is looking for an individual with strong experience in employee Communications, gained within either a large financial services organisation or regulated corporate environment.

Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will play a key role in developing a communications plan for a key global function within the organisation and you will help to raise the function's profile. The function is undergoing a major change and growth period. This is a newly created role-so you will have the opportunity to take a lead role on the comms strategy for this area

      • Develop and manage a multi-stakeholder, multi-channel communications strategy
      • Measure the effectiveness of the communications and channels
      • Deliver inspiring communications to colleagues, internal customers and suppliers through a range of channels, including across email, newsletters, surveys and town halls
      • Prepare communications on a wide range of issues, translating business messages into compelling communications
      • Seek out speaker opportunities at external events for the management team that raise the function's profile of the function
      • Ensure all static content on both the intranet and internet is relevant and up-to-date
      • Deliver communications support to projects
      • Organise a series of high profile events to drive further value from supplier partnerships or discover breakthrough solutions from previously unknown companies.
      • Work with senior stakeholders to agree the key messaging for events
      • Devise and implement plans to improve sustainable colleague engagement, on a global basis

Experience required

  • Experience developing and implementing employee communications plans, gained in a large financial services organisation or large corporate environment-preferably in a regulated industry and from a global environment
  • Experience in internal communications to include working on a range of channels such as email, newsletters, surveys and town halls
  • Experience developing digital communications eg.using the intranet, social media etc
  • Experience working as a business partner in a comms capacity
  • Strong writing skills
  • Some experience in external comms would be helpful but is not essential
  • Some experience managing complex events would be helpful
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
