Business Support Director



c£100,000 package

Our client is a global pharmaceutical organisation and is looking for a Business Support Director to join the team on a permanent basis.


You will report to the EMEA Executive Director and be responsible for 6 - 8 direct reports. You will be responsible for managing the regional business requirements, driving functional improvements and managing regional activities to support Global projects.

You will provide strategic support and guidance throughout key initiatives serving as a lead, for the planning and execution of initiatives to enable customers to achieve their objectives through the effective use of applications and services.

You will co-ordinate the activities of their team to improve the functionality of the regional services and regional value from globally delivered services. You will assure the introduction of new regionally services and functionality to agreed time, cost and quality parameters by overseeing and managing the solution design, project delivery through to implementation and the hand over.

You will embed Compliance Culture across all Regions of the business ensuring integrity is actively applied in all initiatives.


  • Solid knowledge of information technology computer systems and software
  • Applications experience (SAP, SuccessFactors, Ariba, HPRM)
  • Business Change experience
  • Track record of leading planning exercises
  • Leadership/ people management experience
  • Pharma sector experience with strong customer focus
  • Knowledge with pharma processes/ regulations
  • Ability to work within a global environment
