Due to a large amount of growth and success within the department this position has been made available. You will be working for a highly impressive and a rapidly expanding organisation.
Your Key Responsibilities
• Kick off new projects planning and estimating the analysis stream, calling out resources required and dependencies.
• Provide conceptual solutions to often complicated business problems / needs and make recommendations for preferred solutions, with consideration of associated risks, cost and timescales
• To write effective user stories that detail changes to the product/solution
• Work with the project team to write test scenarios using BDD.
• To work with development and testing teams on the build and release of the product
• To ensure that regulatory criteria is met through the design process
• Work with senior management to facilitate the sign off / agreement of solutions and recommendations via presentations/demos and workshops/meetings
• Take ownership of traceability of analysis through development, testing etc.
• Liaise with the business and external stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of dependencies, deliverables risks and issues
Must have
• Successfully operated as a hands on business analyst working as the sole or lead analyst on the project
• Experience working as an analyst with in a technology delivery team
• End to end development using agile techniques (Scrum, Kanban)
• Strong stakeholder management skills and experience presenting
• Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Ability to work in a team and individually
• Able to work to tight deadlines, and manage several tasks concurrently
• XML and SQL skills are desirable but not mandatory

The Tax Accountant plays a key role in enabling our client to fulfill its Tax compliance and reporting requirements and also have an opportunity to play a significant and on-going role in internal projects.
Working in a well-established team within the bank, the role holder’s responsibilities will include production of monthly, quarterly, and annual VAT returns (NB: monthly is internal VAT reconciliations/calculations). Requirement to undertake duties for more than one of the banks entities, to provide financial reporting and tax services to the Senior Tax Manager and production of tax related reconciliations and general management information pertaining to direct or indirect taxes, including the:
1. maintenance of tax records, calculations and reconciliations for the bank
2. completion of allocated balance sheet and P&L reconciliations within deadlines; and
3. Assisting and supporting the rest of finance team on ad-hoc reports or projects.
