C# Developer

C#/.Net, Front Office Trading, Containerisation, Fullstack, Kafka

My client is a leading global hedge fund currently looking to expand their front office trading team. The role offers the opportunity to inform and shape technology decisions and directly impact commercial/ trading decisions. You'll be working with traders and portfolio managers to build market-leading systems to execute the market.

The team uses a modern C# codebase with a React front end and SQL Server database. Cloud computing, containerisation tools and messaging components make up the wider tech stack, and you will have a high degree of autonomy to implement new tech and focus on parts of the system that most interest you.

Required skills:

- Proven expertise in C# with a focus on fullstack development. You will be a senior developer currently working within a major asset manager, hedge fund or front office department of a leading investment bank

- Knowledge of Docker and/or Kubernetes

- Experience of FIX Protocol or order management systems

Nice to have:

- Strong educational background

- Compiler experience

- Messaging experience

- Prior history working on exchange links
