SENIOR EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT

We are hiring an Executive Assistant to join our large global banking client in Canary Wharf!

This role will be crucial to the research team, looking after multiple senior executives in a busy team!

The ideal candidate should possess 5+ years of experience in banking, supporting multiple senior executives, and experience in research would be ideal.

Duties include:

  • Screen calls/incoming mail - be an effective gatekeeper ; take messages efficiently and accurately; receive visitors
  • Compose and prepare internal/external correspondence in addition to maintaining, answering and routing correspondence not requiring manager's attention
  • Extensive diary management across different time zones.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements, understanding executive's travel preferences and needs, and using initiative in managing itinerary times and costings. Prepare and process associated travel expenses
  • Create and maintain correspondence and record files
  • Assist and fill in for other support staff
  • Input and maintain internal databases
  • Assist with any other ad hoc reports and special projects as required
  • Assist in organising group morale events and franchise parties
  • PowerPoint presentations

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Solid experience as an executive assistant, supporting multiple senior executives.
  • Solid experience working in banking, if not finance.
  • Experience communicating at the C-Suite level.
  • Excellent administration skills.
  • Strong levels of communication at the senior stakeholder level.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Advanced skills in all MS Office Packages, including Outlook.
  • Excellent multitasking skills.
  • Can do working attitude.
  • Willingness to learn.
