The role
As a Network Engineer, you will work to deliver high-quality, secure network services across all venues and third-party locations.
Essential experience
- Experience working in a high-pressure service delivery environment, where the network is fundamental to delivering the highest quality of service.
- Proven work experience and knowledge of Cisco networking, certified at Professional level (CCNP) or working towards Expert Level (CCIE).
- Strong technical knowledge of routing and switching, network security (firewalls, etc.), data centre, and campus networks.
- Experience working within IT service management processes, with a good understanding of ITIL.
- Demonstrable experience and knowledge of Cisco software, including DNAC, ISE, and Spaces.
- Knowledge of enterprise Wi-Fi solutions and experience supporting an enterprise Wi-Fi service.
- Understanding of both fibre and copper data cabling.
- Strong track record of working with both in-house and managing third parties to deliver network services to customers.
- Excellent planning, organisational and delivery skills and comfortable with periods of pressure.
- Experience in the sports events industry is beneficial but not essential.
