A leading financial services provider is seeking a solid and reliable Senior DevOps Engineer who can help support the overall business on its continued journey in the world of DevOps.

The role:

You are interested and excited by AWS cloud adoption and eager to help end customers achieve the best outcomes for their financial success.

Be determined to transform technology infrastructure by adopting the cloud.

Responsible for guiding teams through new technologies and the necessary quality checks associated with high-quality products.

You will act as a service provider to the wider engineering function of the enterprise and as part of a global initiative to shift towards AWS infrastructure solutions.

Provide senior-level cloud engineering services, including the direction, evaluation, selection, configuration, implementation, testing, automation, and integration of new or existing technologies and tools.

Technical Skills:

Strong knowledge of core AWS concepts and services

Proficient in building Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and implementing DevSecOps practice.

Experience in a modern object-oriented language (Java, Node, Javascript, or Python)

Strong experience managing AWS infrastructure using IaC (CloudFormation preferred)

Terraform skills required

You have a strong background of Unix and the TCP/IP stack

Be familiar with Docker or any other container run time.

You want to work with other talented engineers and foster a culture of innovation, efficiency, independent thinking, and collaboration.

Able to troubleshoot effectively throughout the development lifecycle.

You can self-train emerging technologies and share what you learn with others.
