What to expect:

  1. You will be asked to record answers to 5 questions. Questions will be along the lines of: What is your greatest/proudest achievement? (try not to use degree as an example) What makes a good recruiter? Talk about a time you have failed- how would you do it differently etc
  2. For each question you have unlimited thinking time, responses are limited to 1 minute and you will have 3 takes to record your answer.
  3. Please be aware that you cannot go back and choose the take you wish to submit. If you have not submitted your answer on take one or two, the remaining take will have to be submitted.

  • Major Incident Management Lead
    £500 - £575 per day

    Major Incident Management Lead - MIM - Financial Services - Bromley

    Contract, up to £575/day

    Global financial service client is looking for a Major Incident Management Lead to join their team in Bromley. The successful candidate will have strong leadership and process ownership experience.

    Skills and require required:

    • Must have led a Major Incident Management Function where they have led a team integrating across the supply chain
    • Demonstrable experience managing Major Incidents (must able to provide specific examples in interview)
    • Experience of planning and coordinating all activities required to perform, monitor and report on MIM process
    • Experience leading, developing and coaching team members to continually improve individual and team performance
    • Always on, energetic and proactive attitude
    • Strong supplier management capability to build strong relationships and drive positive outcomes
    • Excellent Stakeholder Management skills (Up to C-level)
    • ITIL Certified


    • Understanding of technical infrastructure including Citrix, Windows, Mainframe, Networks and databases.
    • Large Organisation experience (Regulated Insurance / FS preferred)
    • Experience of working with the ServiceNow ITSM Platform

  • Application Support Analyst (Windows/ IIS)- Banking- Permanent
    £50000 - £65000 per annum

    I am currently looking for an experienced Application Support Analyst (Windows/ IIS) to join a top bank based in London. The role will be a permanent role and will be working on a new project within the business.

    Principal duties and responsibilities:

    Provide 2nd and 3rd line support for the banks’ application suite

    Troubleshooting any issues that arise and implement fixes as required

    Provide assistance to other IT support teams for issues

    Trend recurring incidents and provide suitable long term solutions

    Work closely with the Database Administrators and Storage teams in relation to incidents, capacity management & service improvements

    Technical liaison with vendors as required

    Provide on-call support on a regular basis, working in a shift pattern

    Essential skills/experience:

    Experienced Application Support Analyst

    Windows Enterprise Operating Systems (Windows 2003 and above)

    Managing web applications (IIS/Application Server Roles)

    Networking technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.).

    Database connection methods (Oracle, SQL)

    Supporting web-based applications

    Good understanding of:

    Source Control Management

    Scripting (especially PowerShell)

    Citrix environments and application delivery via Citrix

    VMWare / Virtulisation

    Microsoft Dynamics CRM

  • Are you a Ruby or Python Developer / Engineer?
    £65000 - £90000 per annum

    My client is on the hunt for Ruby or Python developer / engineers, my client is building a global payments network, they are one of the fastest growing FinTech businesses in the UK, handling over £3.5 billion in payments and achieving 120% year on year revenue growth.

    My client is an online Direct Debit specialist that manages the entire collection process on customers behalf. Merchants can either collect and manage their payments using a simple online tool or can integrate with their REST API.

    I am confident that my client can provide the best of programmers with a challenge and projects you need to progress your career including working with technologies like Ruby/Go/Python/PostgreSQL/GCP. My client is open to train engineers from in different coding backgrounds however, you would need you to be a Python or Ruby on Rails developer at your core as this is the main stack.

    Requirements for RoR developer include:

    • Strong working knowledge of Rails Framework and its best practices.
    • You are able to successfully use Ruby outside of Rails.
    • Familiar with most popular RubyGems and Bundler.
    • Proficient with TDD and BBD
    • Solid knowledge of databases, SQL and query optimization.
    • Experience designing RESTful API's
    • Proficient with Git and Git flow

    Requirements for the Python developer:

    • Someone with a good working knowledge of Python and best development practices,
    • including API and microservices development
    • Experience with test driven development and version control using git
    • Solid understanding of database technologies, especially graph databases (Neo4J)
    • Comfortable working in a multidisciplinary team environment using agile practices
    • Proven experience of working in teams in the successful delivery of complex, highly
    • performing and high quality products
    • Experience of Agile practices
