I am currently looking for an Control-M Automation Consultant to join a top financial organisation based in Surrey. The role will be a permanent role and will be working on a new project within the business.
Key responsibilities
Overall ownership for global BMC Control-M batch automation platform.
Responsible for Vendor engagement, including management of commercials and internal recharge.
Define roadmap for product and deliver efficient, scalable, client focussed solutions.
Drive adoption of Automation APIs and CI/CD integration for Control-M
Participate in Audit Discussions both internal and external
Hands-on engineering development to provide solutions and services in support of the roadmap
To be the technical catalyst for outstanding service delivery within the team.
Skills & Experience
Strong experience in Control-M, Administration and Development.
Responsible for automated installation, configuration, upgrades, patching and maintenance of scalable and high performing batch automation platform.
Strong understanding of Automation API.
Strong understanding of Batch Scheduling best practice.
Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Ansible
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex production incident tickets. Reported through monitoring systems, support teams, and trouble tickets as per established SLAs.
Drive Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes working with Operations, Development, and Management teams to ensure operational consistency and service improvement.

My client is seeking someone passionate to learn and develop skills further within Insight Analytics, with foundation skills in the following ideally:
Commercial understanding of one of the following verisons of SQL Server, 2008R2, 2012, 2014, 2016
SQL scripts, TSQL, stored proceedures.
Google Analytics, Google Optimize, Tag management, Adobe Analytics or a similar Web analytics/CRO product.
MI/BI Reporting, SSRS/SSMS or Power BI Reporting experience.
JavaScript, HTML or CSS experience highly desirable.
Highly desirable:
MVT or A/B Testing experience.
SQL SSIS.
Java, Python,
Data Science or Engineering qualification, knowledge or experience.
