Head of Company Secretary within an Insurnace firm to assist the Legal Director in the day-to-day operation and management of the Company Secretary function, leading and developing a team, undertaking all duties of Company Secretary for the Group.

Job:

  • Lead on the coordination and administration of all Group Board, Committee and Executive meetings
  • Act as liaison to the Group’s Directors, Executive Management and Senior Leadership
  • Assist the Group’s Directors in their understanding of the relevant regulatory and corporate governance structures and the rules with which they must comply, and to assist with specific internal training if required
  • Lead on key initiatives to corporate governance and strategy
  • Manage new Director induction, development and mentoring programmes
  • Provide quality assurance in the preparation and finalisation of Board and Executive meeting papers
  • Provide expert advice to support the effective governance of the Group
  • Develop and coach team
  • Oversee and lead the organisation and preparation of agendas for all Board, Committee and Executive meetings as well as annual general meetings (AGMs)
  • In liaison with the Legal Director, monitor and make management aware of any changes in legislation, commenting upon how such changes might impact the business
  • Liaise with the Registrar of Companies as required
  • Support the business with the coordination of the annual Financial Statements and Annual Return and the renewal of the Insurance cover for employees, equipment and premises
  • Maintain relevant statutory books, including registers of members, directors and secretaries
  • Be fully aware of the Company’s Health & Safety Policy and to be the nominated individual providing

Experience

  • Strong experience of corporate governance, administration and management
  • Proven track record of leading a team
  • Extensive experience delivering to a Board Directors and Executives
  • Experience of working in the general insurance industry, financial services or Banking
  • Previous experience in overseeing and administering of Boards and Committees in multi-jurisdictional environment
  • Institute of Chartered Secretaries & Administrators qualifications

  • IT Business Analyst - Capital Markets
    £50000 - £75000 per annum + + benefits

    My leading consulting client are looking to bring on multiple IT Business Analysts with strong captial markets experience.

    Candidates should have:

    • Experience working in the financial services industry as Business Analyst
    • Knowledge within Capital Markets (fixed income, equities, FX, derivatives etc).
    • Demonstrable evidence of analyzing and documenting complex business processes
    • Excellent verbal communication skills; facilitating working meetings, building credibility and trust with stakeholders, negotiating contentious issues with stakeholders and escalating issues as promptly
    • Excellent business documenting skills, able to convey complex information with objectivity and brevity

    Test analyst (Data) required to support a growing BI Test functions for a national logistics company based in central London. To be successful in this role you will have previous enterprise level experience and a proven record of testing data into the cloud. The role will involve:
