Regulatory Compliance Analyst, ST. Julian’s, Malta

Working for a leading global payments firm. Offering accounts, FX, international and domestic payments, acquiring and Open Banking services and expanding regally.

This is a newly created role with the responsibility of assisting the Head of Compliance in ensuring the company is conducting its business in full compliance with all respective legislation and related rules and regulations. MFSA expereince desirable.

This will involve:

  • Contributing to the delivery of the Annual Compliance Monitoring and Testing Program
  • Evaluating internal operational and procedural compliance
  • Performing complex monitoring review
  • Assisting the Head of Compliance in providing advice and guidance to the business on necessary actions, addressing any issues arising from monitoring reports
  • Drafting, reviewing, and adjusting policies and procedures on a regular basis
  • Assisting in the delivery of compliance training
  • Providing ad-hoc compliance advice to business divisions where required
  • Undertaking other responsibilities necessary for the proper performance of the role

The ideal candidate will have the following:

  • 2+ years compliance experience in the payments industry
  • MFSA expereince
  • Excellent attention to detail, with a strong focus on producing high quality work
  • Knowledge of industry compliance requirements and standards
  • A strong understanding of compliance regulations and risk management principles
  • The Ability to self-manage, organise competing priorities effectively and meet deadlines
  • Ability to communicate both orally and in writing, and in particular to be able to present credibly and professional to senior management
  • Able to build strong relationships with peers and business counterparts

  • HR Program Manager
    £600 - £610 per day

    My client is seeking an HR Project Manager who has had a focus on Talent Management initiatives to project manage the integration of a talent management processes, implementing a new platform combining performance, skills, career paths and succession.

    The HR Project Manager will build stakeholder relationships and help drive the People Team to make value driven decisions around the talent management journey. You will drive outcomes, working with all People Team specialisms and oversee the interconnected talent management projects, helping the team to reconcile interdependencies and identify the priority areas.

    Key areas of focus:

    • Facilitate communication and deliverables between multiple and cross-functional project teams to ensure successful delivery of the program
    • End-to-end program management, i.e. lead the interactions with stakeholders
    • Responsible for building project plan, communications and managing dates with project manager
    • Initiate and maintain the program documentation, including all requirements, plans, timelines and deliverables
    • Ability to partner with technical experts, translating our needs in a way that drives appropriate design work
    • Complete post implementation reviews, and collect feedback from talent practices to highlight and advance our practices

    Experience:

    • Experience developing and supporting talent management programs (i.e., performance, development, skills and competencies, career paths, and talent and succession planning programs)
    • HR Project Management experience
    • Ability to provide strategic guidance on links between performance, skills, career paths and succession planning
    • Experience using HR technology (HRIS, talent management systems, learning management systems)

    American investment banking firm seeks a Java Software Developer for a permanent position paying up to £110,000, within their Cloud Infrastructure organization based in London.

    The Public Cloud Infrastructure team consists of a number of talented Java Software Engineers who are instrumental in implementing the architecture and the engineering processes and best practices to enable the foundational infrastructure (compute, network, storage, observability) required for application hosting in public cloud.

    The ideal candidate has experience in professional software development, designing and creating highly available cloud systems, and has the ability to implement cloud strategy. Advanced industry knowledge is key, as well as knowledge in building an engineering organization. The role requires a talented technologist with experience engaging with application developers throughout the full development life-cycle – from inception and design to deployment, operation, and iterative development.
