McGregor Boyall are currently recruiting Incident Response Analysts to join our clients’ team of information security experts responsible for protecting sensitive data and company systems. The role is based in Glasgow, on a permanent basis. This role is focused on Information Security and the Incident Response team is responsible for managing the detection and reporting of information security and insider threat incidents, supporting all our clients’ Business Units. As part of the Incident Response team you will work closely with the various Business Units within the company (HR, Legal, Corporate Security, IT, etc) to gather incident details, assessing risks and assisting with remediation to ensure that compliance to regulatory and company standards are met at all times. As indicated, your new role will based in Glasgow, working on a hybrid model. You will become part of a global team of IT Security professionals. Your Responsibilities will include but not limited to: - Conducting daily reviews - Collecting supporting information and relevant artifacts in support of Incident Response activities - Utilising defined workflows to assess the severity of an incident, appropriate mitigation activities, communication across the organisation, and ensuring proper documentation is produced outlining the details of the incident - Hosting calls with senior members of staff to develop quick response plans to information security incidents - Providing on call and out of hours support To be considered for this role we would love you to have the following skills and experience: - Excellent verbal and written English communications skills -Experience in a similar role or working knowledge of Incident Management, Information Security, or Data Privacy - Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field - Ability to analyse data to look for anomalies or appropriately identify potential risk issues requiring further escalation - Ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and maintain confidentiality - Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office - Flexible and self-motivator - Working knowledge of incident tracking or case management solutions, and DLP detection products would be beneficial - Technical or Information Security Certifications (such as CISM, CRISC, CISSP) would be desirable |

The company is seeking a Data Architecture Lead who will be responsible for designing and implementing the data architecture that underpins SST’s Data and Digital strategy. The candidate will work closely with product, operations, and technology partners to develop the next generation data platform to support new products and services. The candidate will also significantly contribute to solutions and design of new builds for the Data and Digital offering. The role will cover solutions across all Securities Services products. The candidate will be on the cutting edge of new digital innovations and will help to evolve and transform the Securities Services business. - Provide thought-leadership in evolving the data landscape and how it applies to the Securities Services business.
