This is a fantastic opportunity for an Executive Search Associate within a global banking organisation. The role will be critical to the success of the delivery of senior and executive talent through the organisation and will be responsible for search execution and pipeline development.

Critical responsibilities include:

  • Conduct global external executive talent research projects to support hiring talent at MD level and above including market mapping and building talent pipelines across all functions within the organisation
  • Build and proactively develop internal and external talent pipelines for top performing and diverse executive level hiring to meet current and future business needs
  • Focus on internal talent marketplace gaining deep level knowledge of internal talent and capability to drive internal mobility, opportunity and engagement
  • Manage end to end hiring processes at MD level from brief to search to shortlisting, interview process and offer creation
  • Act as an ambassador for the Executive Resourcing function ensuring a world class candidate and hiring manager experience
  • Develop deep sector knowledge and expertise and provide market intelligence to stakeholders and broader team on competitor activities and market talent aligned to strategic organisation goals

This is a fantastic opportunity for candidates who are looking to join an in-house Executive Search team and would suit individuals from Research and Associate backgrounds within Executive Search or Agency firms that deal support senior and executive hiring or alternatively someone with in-house experience looking to move into the Executive hiring space.

Critical skills required:

  • Experience of building external talent pipelines and hiring at executive level
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal including preparation of search reports
  • Excellent senior stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
  • Ability to build credible and engaging relationship with senior stakeholders and candidate
  • High level of confidentiality and discretion

    The role

    The company is seeking a Data Architecture Lead who will be responsible for designing and implementing the data architecture that underpins SST’s Data and Digital strategy. The candidate will work closely with product, operations, and technology partners to develop the next generation data platform to support new products and services. The candidate will also significantly contribute to solutions and design of new builds for the Data and Digital offering. The role will cover solutions across all Securities Services products. The candidate will be on the cutting edge of new digital innovations and will help to evolve and transform the Securities Services business. The global nature of the role will require excellent navigation and communication skills across business and technology teams.

    The responsibilties

    • Provide thought-leadership in evolving the data landscape and how it applies to the Securities Services business.
    • Lead a small and highly accomplished technology team of architects encompassing data modelling, data quality and data management.
    • Lead the development of standards, architectural governance, design patterns and IT practices. This will include standards for data artefacts – data dictionaries, input file formats, output file formats and the use of data modelling, lineage reporting and metadata related tools.
    • Develop comprehensive knowledge of how different areas of technology, such as architecture and infrastructure, integrate to accomplish business goals.
    • Create detailed data flow diagrams and design across a complex integration footprint.
    • Develop and maintain the IT asset register and the data lineage across the applications for SST.
    • Define and maintain standard entities, related to Investment and Fund Accounting, Custody, Transfer Agency and their corresponding dictionaries.
    • Design and management of physical architecture including hardware, capacity planning, and performance of various systems, in conjunction with the infrastructure and environment management team.
    • Conduct design reviews with the development teams and identify the upstream and downstream dependencies.

    • 10+ years’ experience building and maintaining applications in the financial services industry, with extensive knowledge of Securities Services products and service offerings.
    • Industry knowledge of Securities Services products and service offerings with in-depth knowledge in one of Fund/Investment Accounting, Fund Administration, Middle Office, or Custody Services.
    • Be an expert of data architecture patterns enabling digital transformation.
    • Demonstrable hands-on experience in modernization of data platforms, embracing cloud native technologies and use of integrated cloud data platform.
    • Expert knowledge of various components of data platform and their purpose. Understand the use-cases for Cloud, Big Data, Operational data stores, Events stores and object storage.
    • Expert knowledge of design patterns underpinning Cloud data platform (Snowflake), data lake, No-SQL datastores, relational databases and object storage.
    • Expert knowledge of Domain driven, and Events based architecture patterns.
    • Deep knowledge of enterprise level data integration patterns, and experience of Kafka based integration.
