As the adoption of Data, Analytics and Intelligent Automation continues, the role of this Applied Science Automation Designer is to ensure that these capabilities are playing an effective role in advising the Group’s Transformation agenda. Helping ensure we continuously improve outcomes for customers by having a comprehensive understanding of their financial behaviours and the products, services and processes that meet their needs.

The role is focused on creating awareness and driving adoption of Data, Analytics and Intelligent Automation across a broad range of domains. Working collaboratively with delivery teams in the Chief Data Office and Intelligent Automation labs to apply expertise in order to shape solutions and drive data centric ways of working and deliver Automation solutions.

Working within a small team you'll have the opportunity to influence significant and enduring change; helping improve customer experience and reach the right outcomes for customers.

The main purpose of this role is to advocate and drive greater adoption of Data, Analytics and Intelligent Automation. Working collaboratively across a broad range of customers to identify and recommend where Applied Science tools, techniques and capabilities can improve customer outcomes and realise commercial value. Shaping new implementations and working collaboratively with the Bank of the Future and other customers to effectively resource and deliver change, realise value and deliver better outcomes for customers. You'll be key to the positioning and communication of these capabilities to colleagues across the Group.

For this role the specific Applied Science capabilities of interest are aligned to our Intelligent Automation enablers of Digital Products, Natural Language Analytics Products, Virtual Assistants, RPA+ and Machine Learning Platforms.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Networking effectively across a range of partners to understand and share opportunities for improving customer outcomes and processes.
  • Passionately advocate the use of relevant Bank of the Future Enablers to support Transformation goals
  • Advocate a data-driven approach to Design processes, utilising the breadth of internal data sources, tools and capabilities to better understand customer behaviours.
  • Critically analyse existing processes, systems and procedures to identify innovative ways.
  • Evaluate complex expertise-led solutions against a range of criteria to find the ones that best meet business needs.
  • Puts the customer at the heart of the design when considering Applied Sciences.
  • Grow own capabilities by pursuing and investing in personal development opportunities and develops the capabilities of direct reports by working within existing development framework; provides specialised training or mentoring in area of expertise to others throughout the organisation.
  • Deliver outcomes by leading and influencing others and working within established systems.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrable experience (direct or indirect) in one or more Intelligent Automation (IA) capabilities like Chatbot, RPA, Document Processing, Machine Learning, Speech Analytics.
  • Have a good understanding of more than one financial product end to end journey. On-boarding and/or Servicing journeys.
  • Experienced in working with senior stakeholders helping them taking critical decisions.
  • Experienced in supporting multiple business areas/projects at the same time.
  • Experienced in writing proposal document – Desired skill.
  • Challenging the status quo where appropriate to improve customer and colleague journeys
  • Building and leveraging robust stakeholder relationships to embed Intelligent Automation capabilities.

    A well known aviation business is seeking a permanent Business Development Manager to support the delivery of the EMEA B2B revenue income targets through proactive sales approaches.

    The Business Development Manager will:

    • Identify and close: To research, identify, approach and close new sales opportunities within the EMEA region.
