I am currently looking for an Application Support Analyst (FX/ Payments) to join a top financial organisation based in London. The role will be a contract role and will be working on a new project within the business.

Responsibilities:

The main objectives of the Application Support Engineer are to ensure the reliability and stability of assigned environments and applications hosted in those environments. Also supporting rapid delivery of software applications and the underlying infrastructure. The Application Support Engineer will provide solutions to technical issues. You will be responsible for meeting development schedules and ensuring the delivered solutions meet all technical specifications and requirements.

Experience required:

Excellent SQL Skills & Knowledge.

Strong background in Windows Servers (2012, 2013, 2016) and IIS (7, 8)

Experience managing cloud infrastructure, ideally MS Azure.

Excellent Troubleshooting skills, an investigative and analytical mind, looks for solutions, sees things through.

Nice to have:

Knowledge of FX & ideally payment systems

Basic networking skills

Design and implement build, deployment, release, and configuration management in Visual Studio Online

Experience with Microsoft Azure management and deployment

Experience with DevOps in MS Azure environment

While the role will be helping with day to day IT support, the position will also be heavily involved with upcoming, global projects in digitisation.
