Application support analyst(UNIX, RHEL, Scripting, RDBMS, ITIL)
Glasgow based financial services giant is continuing to expand their presence in Glasgow which includes growing a whole new application support team. This role would see you supporting business critical application withing a specific arm of the company.
The environment is predominantly UNIX(RHEL) although there is also some Windows boxes so any experience on Microsoft tech would be beneficial. This is 2nd line support so scripting skills are also essential. Either Perl, Shell or SQL would be suitable. Back end its SQL server and the application is written in Java so any experience supporting similar applications would be beneficial. ITIL is widely used within the team so you’d need to have an understanding in incident management as a minimum.
To be successful in this role, you’ll previously supported applications in a similar environment, ideally at enterprise level. Any experience in Autosys for Batch scheduling or ServiceNow would also be beneficial as would Financial services experience although this isn’t essential as full training will be given. If you have the relevant technical experience and attitude you’ll be able to pick up the other aspects of the role quickly.

The salaries for these roles range from £75k base to £90k base and they all come with an excellent benefits package and bonus potential. Remote working is expected to start with and will be an option in the long run also.

I am seeking an experience HR Administrator for a permanent role in a fast paced client within the financial services sector. This role will be supporting the HR function on all HR Administrative aspects for the 200 strong business and the successful candidate will highly organised and efficient.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the full onboarding and offboarding process.
- Maintain and develop HR databases encompassing the full employee lifecycle.
- Assist with the documentation for transfers, employment and those leaving the company.
- Retain employee records and ensure they are updated.
- Support the team with any projects and advise on HR queries
- Provide support with the recruitment process.
Desired Experience:
- Prior experience of working as an HR Administrator within a small financial services organisation
- Extensive experience navigating Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Acute attention to detail
- Proven track record of process efficiency
- An analytical mind who enjoys working with systems and data.
