The role
As a DevOps Engineer, you will have the opportunity to deal with complex challenges, while using your expertise in coding, algorithms, complexity/forensic analysis and various system design strategies to tackle those challenges
Much of your focus will be on optimising existing systems on Azure, building new Azure PaaS and IaaS solutions for services currently not running on Azure and eliminating manual work through automation wherever feasible.
Essential experience
- Prior work experience at a senior engineering level within the field of DevOps.
- Strong DevOps skills with expertise in integration tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Nexus, and Git
- Kubernetes & Istio (AKS an advantage)
- Experience programming in at least two of the following languages: Java, Groovy, Scala, Python, Go, C++, JavaScript, PowerShell, or Bash/Shell
- Systematic problem-solving approach, comfortable gathering requirements
- Strong Communication skills and a sense of ownership
- Knowledge of effective cloud architecture solutions.
