Due to a large amount of growth and success within the department this position has been made available. The successful candidates will work closely with our finance partner, product owners and feature teams within the lab, provide them with support and analysis, to be a trusted adviser and to add value that will assist in decision making

Responsibilities:

  • Work with IT and business stakeholders to define and agree the project scope and benefits case;
  • Provide regular insightful commentary on benefit performances and advise to the lab and key stakeholders on where intervention is required.
  • End to end project lifecycle

Key skills:

  • Extensive background as a Cost Manager/Benefits Manager/Finance Manager
  • Banking background is a MUST
  • Stakeholder management
  • Technical Business and Accounting - A source of professional expertise for cost, asset creation, systems and processes. Has knowledge of Group Transformation activity and exhibits strong commercial acumen.
  • Analysis and Decision Making - Identifies the key issues, breaking down problems and establishing facts. Uses sound judgement to make informed decisions. Develops evidence based strategy and plans which consider different options, benefits, risks and solutions to make effective decisions.

    Regulatory Reporting Developer – SQL Server

    Our client, a private banking group is seeking an experienced Regulatory Reporting Developer to join the team based in the London.

    Main duties and purpose of the role:

    • Be a central point of expertise and consultation on technical aspects of the regulatory reporting platform
    • Ensuring development aligns to agreed standards and is of a high quality
    • Evaluating and adopting new techniques to advance the platform
    • Working with product and operations teams to streamline processes
    • Development across each component of the reporting platform
    • Aiding planning sessions and prioritisation to facilitate agile delivery of features
    • Day to day support of the platform to help diagnose and fix production issues

    Responsibilities:

    − Facilitate workshops with third party vendors and business users to capture and document surveillance requirements

    − Undertake detailed data analysis and provide mapping solutions to on-board new products onto the strategic real time surveillance platform, engaging internal BAs from other projects accordingly

    − Create and maintain design specification documents for trade surveillance alert models

    − Provide QA testing teams with detailed acceptance criteria for all business requirements

    Liaise with surveillance analysts to lead the troubleshooting and triaging of production issues to drive root cause identification and resolution

    − Support UAT testing to validate the business readiness of each surveillance software release

    − Document, track and escalate risks and issues to project lead as appropriate

    − Participate in daily scrums, backlog refinement sessions, project status meetings and sprint retrospectives
