BI Engineer

Our client, a well-known name within their industry is seeking an experienced BI Engineer to join the team based in the London.

Main duties and purpose of the role:

  • Be a global Business Intelligence expert capable of joining up front and back end development
  • Enable Visualisation Specialists, Analytics Managers and Business Partners to deliver actionable insights
  • Architect and end-to-end deliver automation and embedded analytics capabilities
  • Pilot and optimize new, more secure and cost-effective BI environments in the cloud (AWS, Azure, Google)
  • Integrate, evolve, optimize and manage lifecycle of Visualisation products and solutions

Preferred experiences:

  • Highly proficient with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, CI with Jenkins
  • You are familiar with Node JS, React, Angular, Ionic, mobile deployment wrappers for iOS and Android, GIT, Python, Alteryx, Qlik Sense, Tableau and Power BI

    Our client is a large professional services firm, who are looking for a talented Change Communications Manager to join the business. Working within a specific service line, you will execute the change communications strategy to engage c.1250 employees through their innovation transformation and change agenda.

    You will have the opportunity to work amongst a collaborative and supportive team, and report to the Communications & Engagement lead and Change Programme Director within this specific service line. You’ll also work directly with their Chief Innovation Officer, and Chief Operating Officer, with a programme team that is passionate about innovation and disruption.

    You will deliver change communications across the full range of internal communications channels, including - but not limited to - events, calls, webcasts, email and face-to-face events.

    To be successful you will have:

    • Experience working in professional services, matrix organisation or large corporate.
    • Experience in transformation and culture change communications, including technology adoption and behaviour change.
    • Used various channels and channel management experience.
    • The ability to work within a fast paced and challenging environment.
    • The ability to build strong relationships with key senior stakeholders and be a trusted advisor to the business.
    • Experience of commissioning and overseeing campaigns through external agencies.
    • First class written and verbal communications skills.

    Rules & Compliance Manager – Job Specification


    This is a new position within the Rules & Compliance team (R&C) reporting directly to its head.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Preparation and maintenance of Compliance Assurance Plans (CAP), Compliance Monitoring Plans (CMP) and Compliance Risk Assessments (CRA)
    • Stay up to date and informed of changing legislations and regulations that affect business operations.
    • Work independently as well as within the wider Compliance teams.
    • Implement and Maintain the Compliance Monitoring Plan (CMP)
    • Support a wide variety of areas within the business

    Key Skills

    • Degree level education or equivalent.
    • Experience of working within the financial services industry – trading venue experience would be preferable but is not essential.
    • Demonstrable understanding of, and practical experience in, delivering a Compliance Framework.
    • Proficient in use of MS Office, specifically Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
