Brand Protection & Trade Mark Licencing Application Manager

Our client, a tier 1 global banking group, is looking for a Brand Protection & Trade Mark Licencing Application Manager to join their Marketing function, whilst working closely with the Legal team therefore a legal background would be beneficial for the position. This is a permanent position and can offer from up to £55,000. The role is based in London.

Responsibilities

  • The role focuses on governing third party use of trademarks and the development of new names for the organisations products and services.
  • Strategic governance for communication s throughout the organisation both internal and external. You will be working across business lines, functions and geographies with a focus on trademarks.
  • The Brand governance manager is responsible for third party trade mark licensing and new name applications to leverage, protect and enhance our brand value and increase brand awareness.
  • Providing assistance with the management and use of the trademarks by third parties, for new naming applications and for the trade mark portfolio, primarily trade mark oppositions and renewals.

  • Developing and automating the TMLA application form and database for new names with Adobe software working with external supplier and internal colleagues (e.g. project manager).
  • Responsible for recognising and organizing TMLA training opportunities for delivery of TMLA and trade mark basics content.
  • Ensuring the Global Marketing policy is enforced and followed. You will also be require to update this to align with legal and business risk.
  • Research trade mark oppositions and renewals and provide instructions following the organisation's policy.

Skills and experience

  • 3 years corporate in-house experience (or relevant equivalent) as a trade mark professional working on global brand(s).
  • Experience of global brand development and roll out of a new product / service or proposition
  • Legal experience (in-house) whether as a paralegal or NQ lawyer
  • Previous work with clients within the financial sector
  • Excellent understanding of branding, marketing and trade mark strategy.
  • Excellent knowledge of the fundamental principles of trade marks and trade mark licensing.
  • Excellent understanding of the trade mark licensing process globally, for all mediums – hard and soft copy and in digital channels.
  • Experience of global brand development and roll out of a new product / service or proposition

    I am currently looking for an experienced Mobile Automation Test Analyst to join a top banking organisation based in London. The role will be a permanent role and will be working on a new project within the business.

    Familiarity with Java or Python.

    Comfortable working with Appium or other mobile automation frameworks

    Experience in an SDET role with strong knowledge of QA methodology, test strategy and test planning.

    Knowledge of agile methodologies- must be comfortable working with agile tools such as Jira, Bitbucket, Zephyr and Confluence.

    I am currently looking for an experienced Agile QA Coach Test Manager to join a top financial organisation based in London. The role will be a permanent role and will be working on a new project within the business.

    The QA CoachManager is responsible for the Governance & QA oversight across the Agile delivery teams with their allocated domain. The QA Coach needs to understand the needs of the Agile teams, ensure the QA Practice evolves to support the Agile teams. The QA Coach is the point of contact for Agile teams for Test activities, Environments, Coaching and Automation.

    Responsibilities-

    Provide Leadership, support and guidance to QA Engineers embedded within agile teams.
    Provide support, guidance and QA coaching to members of agile teams.
    Work collaboratively with Shared Services (eg: DevOps), Practices (eg: Agile) and agile teams to ensure all change can demonstrate quality persisting from “plan to run”.
    Manage the requirements for test environment assignment and co-ordinate these with the QA Tools and Environments team.


    Core Requirements

    Experienced Agile QA Coach Test Manager

    Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies, ideally SAFe
    Demonstrable experience managing, implementing or working on complex changes from one the perspective of either BA, Dev, Test or Ops.
    Ability to deal credibly with business and technical users at all levels of the organisation
    ITIL Framework/ ISEB Certification
    Automation across the SDLC
    Agile, DevOps & SAFe methodologies/certification
