Working as a Business Analyst in the Travel Experience and Priority Pass division, you will be expected to support and enable business change with responsibility for eliciting requirements from business owners for projects and then performing the necessary analysis and documentation to ensure the changes are made.

This role is quite technical in focus and would need the successful candidate to have good API knowledge and an ability to write API requirements and understand sequence diagrams.

Knowledge, skills & experience required:

  • Proven experience of working as a Business Analyst including at least some background in Agile environments
  • Lots of experience in gathering functional/non-functional/cross functional requirements, writing user stories, mapping out processes and creating wireframes using a variety of tools.
  • Demonstrated SDLC experience working successfully with teams to deliver web and mobile app based software applications
  • Openness to writing requirements in the form of user stories, or maintaining lists of functions, features, performance metrics, writing acceptance tests, user documentation, or work with more technically-oriented individuals to help with documenting the system itself or defining RESTful API interfaces
  • Experience prioritising competing demands and obtaining buy-in from stakeholders
  • Demonstrate ability to manage and resolve conflict with stakeholders
  • Strong facilitation experience
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and explain issues from both a technical and a business functional point of view
  • Openness to contradictory opinions and flexible in your thinking
  • A willingness to jump into projects and situations and make sense of ambiguous details in multiple domains
  • An understanding of traditional development approaches, and the ability to compare and contrast benefits of each
  • Experience in mentoring and executing Agile, Lean, and Continuous Delivery best practices
  • A genuine passion for quality software - and the know-how to get from sketch to code
  • Comfort with change and ambiguity, including creating and maintaining just enough documentation (concise and as accurate as possible at any given point in time) that is unlikely to undergo a formal sign-off process
