Business Analyst - Compliance Transformation

Up to £340 per day holiday pay

Global Transformation Business Analysts are at the centre of how Transformation shapes, delivers and embeds change working with the business and our delivery partners. They are typically responsible for Requirements Management, Design, Change Management and Implementation Management. Business Analysts work collaboratively with delivery partners and subject matter experts in gathering, translating and clarifying requirements and defining design options.

  • Brings structure and order to undefined problems and/or large scale problems, making them easier to address and solve

Operational Performance

Defines requirements management processes and designs detailed business solutions and structures based on business requirements; challenges business intent in a constructive manner

  • Identifies areas of impact on the target operating model and designs activities to mitigate impact
  • Manages requirements traceability through design and delivery

Knowledge

  • Good understanding of Global Transformation Business Transformation Frameworks and best practice techniques
  • A thorough understanding of the purpose, values, culture and fundamentals of Global Transformation
  • Outstanding understanding of Group structures, processes and objectives
  • Very strong knowledge of the external environment – regulatory, political, competitors etc.

Experience

  • Proven track record as an outstanding analyst, consultant and/or project manager
  • Overall financial services industry knowledge with specific functional expertise
  • Extensive experience gathering requirements and conducting design activity, with a mix of business, operations and technology focused projects
  • Exposure to business case development and a sound understanding of how design enablers underpin business benefits
  • Strong experience of delivering change into different audiences and managing implementation in banking environments (branch, contact centre, trading floor, operations, head office etc).

    • Excellent written and verbal skills in both English and Mandarin as you will be working extensively in the China market.

  • DevOps Engineer - Python + Shell Script - City of London (perm)

    An exciting permanent opportunity has arisen within a global financial services firm based in the City of London.

    The team are looking for a DevOps engineer to work closely with the development and infrastructure teams to ensure fast and reliable continuous integration and to help facilitate the move to a new cloud.

    All applicants must have a DevOps Engineer (Platform Engineer, Cloud Engineer etc) background and preferably prior experience in Python, SQL and UNIX shell scripting

    You also need experience of working with DevOps tools (Jenkins, Ansible etc) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)).

    As this is a DevOps Engineer position, day to day, you will be expected to -

    Reporting directly to the Group Head of Compliance, as the successful candidate, you will take the helm of pivotal projects relating to data privacy for the organisation. Working in tandem with other technology and business teams, you will play a vital role in managing a team of highly talented DPOs across the region and ensure the constant fine tuning of the existing privacy frameworks.

    To be considered for the role, you must possess the following skills/experience:

    • At least 8 years in a technology compliance role with last the 3 years of experience focusing on Data Privacy
    • Expert knowledge in data privacy best practices and regulatory frameworks including but not limited to GDPR & PDPA
    • Proven experience delivering privacy-related projects within the consumer technology industry will be highly preferred
    • Due to constant interactions with key stakeholders in the APAC region including the Greater China market, Mandarin language skills is a MUST.
