McGregor Boyall Associates has partnered with a global leader in international banking, looking to hire a Senior C#.NET VBA Software Developer to join their London-based development team
The successful candidate will work as part of a global team to develop in .NET technologies for large scale systems and provide ongoing maintenance of a portfolio of applications, focussing on operational trade processing for OTC derivatives.
This role requires the successful candidate to develop and migrate existing code to the newer language, predominantly using C# and .NET, but also office VBA (within Excel and Access tools)
Candidate Requirements:
- Proficient in C#.NET programming
- 6+ years of software development experience within front office banking environments
- Product knowledge of fixed income, credit derivatives, or similar areas advantageous
- Ability to develop VBA code in the Microsoft Office object model (MS Access/MS Excel)
- Good written and verbal communication skills, including fluent English.

A well known aviation business is seeking a permanent Business Development Manager to support the delivery of the EMEA B2B revenue income targets through proactive sales approaches.
The Business Development Manager will:
- Identify and close: To research, identify, approach and close new sales opportunities within the EMEA region.
- Collaboration: To work with colleagues internally to support the presales process (pitch presentations etc).
- New client mobilisation: To support the new client mobilisation process.
- Tenders / RFPs (request for proposals): To search for tendering / RFP opportunities that could be of interest from a new business client perspective.
- Conferences / trade events: To drive lead generation through attending appropriate industry conferences, trade shows, events and expositions.
Ideal candidate:
- Must have the ability to identify and close new business sales opportunities
- Skilled in lead generation and relationship building
- Able to present with confidence at C-suite / Partner level
- It would be advatageous if they worked in the travel and tourism industry
