This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented mid-senior level C++ Developer to work for one of London's most successful and competitive Equities Market Making teams within a top, global Investment Bank.
This is a business reporting, front-office role that consists of developing new features and supporting the trading systems used by the desk.
The opportunity boasted an extremely fast-paced, revenue-generating environment working amongst a small but extremely talented team of technologists and traders.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of Linux (including development/debugging, scripting, and networking)
- Strong knowledge of C++ code
- Good knowledge and experience in Python scripting

- Experience in working under the pressure of a production environment
- A proactive approach to internal communication
The role can pay up to £120,000 with good bonus potential, including other company benefits, pension, and paid holiday.

Role responsibilities:
- Interpret and analyse users’ requirements and priorities to shape their requirements from a system perspective.
- Work closely with the Bank’s Users to help articulate any system issues or incidents they may have.
- Conduct in-depth analysis and investigation into SAP issues and recommend best practice solutions to ensure day-to-day operations in the Bank are not compromised.
- Utilise expert knowledge of the SAP implementation Guide (IMG) to design and implement configuration changes
6.2 SAP Platform Services, SAP Finance:
- Excellent knowledge of SAP Finance modules, including detailed configuration experience.
- Background in accounting a distinct advantage
- Deep understanding of the configuration and business processes on Bank ECC and Funds ECC
- Strong analytical and problem solving gained from hands on experience of SAP FI configuration in response to business requirements.
- Excellent knowledge of integration with other Bank finance applications
Required experience:
- In-depth knowledge of SAP FI/CO within ECC 6.0 is required
- Demonstrable experience in SAP implementation and L3 Support
- Financial services or consultancy background
