CASS Controls Analyst
We’re looking for a CASS Controls Analyst ideally with settlements and reconciliations experience for a major bank. This role involves working within the Network Management team, that manages the internal and external relationships with the Agent Bank Network. Also involves, facilitating the opening and closing of external accounts together with overseeing the performance of the services these Banks provide.
The end client currently controls over 5,000 accounts globally, split over 91 countries and 78 markets, with a value of assets in excess of GBP 200Bn.
As a CASS Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Opening external agent banks
- Carry out day to day responsibilities, account management, and due diligence reviews
- Preparing standard protection letter – using letter templates
- Making sure agent banks follow regulations
- No people management responsibility
Essential Skills/Basic Qualifications:
- Experience of a Network Management or CASS role preferred
- Securities or other settlements background, Relationship Management, or Credit background useful
- Attention to detail – focus on accuracy
- Technical Knowledge - demonstrates the ability to continually develop technical expertise and seek improvements
- Business Skills – drives to improve relationships, processes and controls and can solve problems effectively and creatively
- Communication – demonstrates good presentation skills, seeks constructive feedback and is an effective listener

Senior Platform Services Analyst
Senior Platform Services Analyst – London – Hybrid
A Global Financial Services provider working at the heart of the world’s financial, energy and commodities markets covering FX, Rates, Credit, Equities and Energy & Commodities are looking for a Senior Platform Services Analyst to join their team in London.
Clients include banks, insurance companies, pension and hedge funds, asset managers, energy producers and refiners, as well as risk and compliance managers and charities.
Responsibilities:
- Working within a shift rota to provide support coverage from 7am – 6pm
- Contribute towards ‘follow the sun’ support model, working closely with global teams in APAC and US to ensure pre-market health checks are performed for each region
- Perform regional start of day health checks to ensure all members are connected to the platform
- Utilising proprietary tools, provide daily application support and troubleshooting for platform members and internal users, escalating to Development teams appropriately
- Daily interaction with all internal stakeholders with regards to support issues
- Efficiently create and track issues within an incident-management system to help identify trends and patterns
- Create and monitor internal reports and usage queries
- Assist with product testing and project work
Skills:
- At least 3 years hands-on support experience within a financial institution (buy-side, sell-side, venue/platform provider)
- Proven experience of MSSQL, Oracle and Sybase database environments, including complex query-writing
- Solid application support experience within a Unix / Linux environment
- Good working knowledge of the FIX protocol
- Proven experience of supporting Windows Server environments
- Experience in troubleshooting network problems: i.e. firewall and routing problems
- Good understanding of international Equity market mechanics and flows
Desirable:
- Exposure to supporting message-based architecture
- Working knowledge of at least one buy-side or sell-side Order Management System
- Good understanding of Fixed Income market mechanics and flows
- Experience with industry-standard monitoring tools (ITRS or similar)
- Automation experience using PERL, Python, or similar scripting languages

Clients include banks, insurance companies, pension and hedge funds, asset managers, energy producers and refiners, as well as risk and compliance managers and charities.
Responsibilities:
- Utilising proprietary tools, provide daily application support and troubleshooting for platform members and internal trade desks, escalating to development teams appropriately
- Fulfilling client customisation requests within algorithmic trading systems and MTF platform
- Troubleshooting and analysis of order routing and trade flow and post-trade issues
- Managing team chats, queues, and mailboxes to ensure requests are being actioned in a timely manner with appropriate prioritization
- Ensuring incident and problem management procedures are followed and performing analysis to determine trends and patterns
