  • Strategically, this role will also be responsible for Network growth by working with other internal functions such as Compliance for helping develop a scalable and systematic regulatory framework to help acquire or clear licenses for merchant acquisition
  • Other key responsibilities include advising management strategically and tactically on political, legislative and regulatory developments impacting the Network business and will also involve working closely with relevant functions such as Government Relations and Public Relations
  • You'll also have an opportunity to help our Client grow organically through strategic investments working alongside investment teams

The Candidate

The ideal candidate would have all or most of the following requirements :

  • JD or LLM degree in law. A minimum of [10-12] years' PQE; US, UK or Commonwealth qualified.

  • Strong regulatory/compliance knowledge and skills, especially in relation to card schemes, FINTECH and the relevant licensing laws and regulations in major jurisdictions
