My client is a privately owned, independent company, with the commitment and resources to provide the investment expertise, technology and service innovation needed to help their clients achieve their financial goals.

Requirements for this position:

  • Hands on experience of cloud based security technologies across multiple cloud providers Proficient in at least 3 different languages (ideally Ruby, Go, Python)

  • Responsible for line management of London based Service Fulfilment Analysts and to cover other locations during periods of planned / unplanned absence.
  • Providing visibility and support to our business, performing desk side visits & support, floor walking and maintaining and administering printers and other IT peripherals as required
  • Identifying enhancements to and ensuring compliance of a standardised Request Fulfilment process to operate as a standardised across IT and the business
  • Providing a central co-ordination function for the management of service requests from the business. The function is responsible for the oversight of the end-to-end process, fulfilling IT requests and managing queries and communications in a consistent and timely manner
  • Providing support to the Service Desk during times of high contact volumes, and providing cover for logging and resolving incidents, for example during peak times or during Major Incidents

  • Where required, develop bespoke delivery models for handling individual request types, to ensure that they are handled in a consistent manner using tried and tested processes, to prevent re-development of processes on an ad-hoc basis.
  • Adhere to escalation processes which enable exceptions to be dealt with promptly with minimal delay, thereby reducing the risk of disruption to the business caused by slow fulfilment processes.
  • The role requires a broad technical understanding of the function, user technologies (eg Desktop & Mobile), applications in the portfolio, along with an understanding of the capabilities of the service provider community to fulfil these requests.
  • Accountable for ensuring the end-to-end effectiveness of the process and compliance with all corporate standards and policies
  • Accountable for ensuring that measuring and reporting upon the performance of the Request Fulfilment processes is in place and effective
  • Contribute to and maintain the 3-year strategic improvement plan for Request Fulfilment which facilitates operational improvements
  • Accountable for ensuring that effective communication of all process steps is carried out for all stakeholders, providing advice and coaching as appropriate
  • Accountable for ensuring that the Request Fulfilment process operates in a truly end-to-end manner, are fully integrated with other resolver group processes
  • Accountable for optimising the automation of the processes by using appropriate tooling
  • Accountable for escalation and arbitration where necessary, to resolve operational issues concerning the processes
  • Ensure ownership of the request by the appropriate Service provider (internal and 3rd party) is well understood, expectations for delivery are clear, and ultimate delivery of the request meets the specifics of the outlined request by using embedded processes and SLA’s.
  • Ensure tools (e.g. ITSM workflow tools) used by IT are fit for purpose and effective for: keeping requests well controlled with responsibilities for fulfilling the request and activities within the request clear and understood
  • Facilitate the resolution of gaps / difference between supplier and requestor
  • Advocate the alignment of processes and team certifications to ITIL v3
