Cloud Security Analyst
McGregor Boyall are currently recruiting for a Cloud Security Analyst role for a leading financial services client based in Glasgow on a permanent basis.
The Cloud Security Analyst will be responsible for developing and implementing enterprise-wide Information Protection controls specific to the risks inherent with cloud services that balances security and business requirements while protecting our clients’ brand, reputation, operating environment and intellectual property.
You will be a subject matter expert for Cloud DLP controls working closely with the cloud deployment, engineering and other business teams to steer information protection initiatives as our client continues to expand their presence in the Cloud.
Your primary focus will be to assess Cloud functionality and capabilities from a DLP viewpoint using O365 to develop a strategy to make the most efficient use of those technologies.
Other responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Determining and implementing appropriate data leakage controls and policies.
-Assessing safeguards across the tool suite to identify potential risks and perform trend analysis
-Supporting the administration and maintenance of existing data leakage controls and policies in response to changes in local regulation, organizational structure, or business needs
To be considered for this role we would love you to have experience in:
-Microsoft 365 technologies (SharePoint Online, DLP, etc.)
-DLP tools including the development of policies and rules from start to finish
-Microsoft Azure Information Protection Data Classification and Scanner (or similar)
We are keen to speak to individuals that have hands on experience with data analytics tools such as Splunk.
You will have excellent organisational and communication skills and will be able to work independently and as part of a team.
Our client operates a hybrid model of work and you would be based in the Glasgow office once or twice a week.

Senior Platform Services Analyst – London – Hybrid
A Global Financial Services provider working at the heart of the world’s financial, energy and commodities markets covering FX, Rates, Credit, Equities and Energy & Commodities are looking for a Senior Platform Services Analyst to join their team in London.
Clients include banks, insurance companies, pension and hedge funds, asset managers, energy producers and refiners, as well as risk and compliance managers and charities.
Responsibilities:
- Working within a shift rota to provide support coverage from 7am – 6pm
- Contribute towards ‘follow the sun’ support model, working closely with global teams in APAC and US to ensure pre-market health checks are performed for each region
- Perform regional start of day health checks to ensure all members are connected to the platform
- Utilising proprietary tools, provide daily application support and troubleshooting for platform members and internal users, escalating to Development teams appropriately
- Daily interaction with all internal stakeholders with regards to support issues
- Efficiently create and track issues within an incident-management system to help identify trends and patterns

Skills:

Desirable:

- Managing team chats, queues, and mailboxes to ensure requests are being actioned in a timely manner with appropriate prioritization
- Ensuring incident and problem management procedures are followed and performing analysis to determine trends and patterns
