  • Implementation Manager
    £450 - £550 per day

    Implementation Project Manager (Software Applications / Data Migration)

    Market leading Investment Management client is looking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic Implementation / Project Manager with a track record of successful software and data migration projects (not infrastructure please). This role will be based in Edinburgh City Centre and will be offered on an initial 6 month basis, but with a view to extend.

    What does the role entail?

    • Working with project, tech and business leads to define implementation strategy.
    • Liaising with tech delivery, operations and test teams to ensure appropriate consideration of priorities and constraints.
    • Overseeing the process from migration to live operations.
    • Managing the creation, maintenance, configuration control and storage of the migration process.

    What experience will the ideal candidate have?

    • Experience of technical/operational implementation delivery and change management.
    • Management experience e.g. will have overseen large scale IT implementations.
    • Strong data migration experience
    • Experience of platform configuration and release management
    • Experience of working with 3rd party providers

    I am ideally looking for candidates who are able to start immediately although 4 week's notice will be considered. The role will pay up to £550 per day for the correct candidate.

    I am currently looking for an Automation Test Lead (Java/ C#) to join a top FinTech organisation based in London/ Surrey. The role will be a permanent role and will be working on a new project within the business.


    Prepare test cases corresponding to business and functional requirements

    Devise and carry out both manual and automated tests to establish the quality of the software under test

    Prepare Test Data and Test Case execution

    Log, prioritise, and track defects

    Work with the Project Manager, Test Leads and Agile Leads

    Skills Required

    Strong automation testing/ lead experience

    Ability to set up automation frameworks from scratch using Selenium and Java/ C#

    Extensive knowledge of automating, debugging and maintaining API tests using SOAP UI/Ready API

    Significant API Testing experience using Postman, Swagger and other API testing tools

    Expertise in identifying and documenting defects using JIRA

    Familiar with writing SQL queries and Shell scripting to generate test artifacts
