Compliance Analyst- Financial Crime




Our client is one of the world’s largest banks, with offices in over 40 countries globally.

They are currently seeking a Financial Crime Compliance Analyst to join their Dubai Office, reporting into the Vice President of Compliance.

The Compliance Analyst will support the implementation of the Middle Eastern regional compliance programme and day to day compliance related tasks, mainly Financial Crime activities.


  • Assist in establishing policies, procedures, systems and controls within all areas of Financial Crime, including; AML, Combat Terrorist Financing, KYC and Sanctions to ensure compliance with legislation in the UAE and Qatar.
  • Perform day to day operations related to all Financial Crime areas.
  • Take appropriate actions against internal Suspicious Transaction Reports.
  • Establishing and maintaining appropriate training programmes for AML and Sanctions.
  • Assist in the development of Anti Bribery & Corruption and Fraud Risk Assessments including investigations.


  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in compliance, for a top bank of financial institution
  • A University degree in a related field
  • Fluent English and Arabic is desirable
  • Hold an existing relationship with Middle East regulators

    ISDA, Sales and Trading Documentation Paralegal - Brexit support

    Our client, a leading financial group, are looking for Brexit support and require someone with ISDA Sales and Trading documentation experience. They are presenting the role as a paralegal role and are able to offer from £300 - £350 per day. It is a 6-month contract.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Preparation of terms of business and other documentation with market counterparties
    • Prepare and negotiate trading agreements and other documentation between the Company and its counterparties across all counterparty sectors and jurisdictions, relating to Sales & Trading transactions
    • Ensure that all legal and documentation requirements for Sales & Trading transactions are dealt with and met in an efficient and timely manner
    • Conduct legal diligence on new counterparties and jurisdictions for Sales & Trading transactions
    • Maintain databases and records of all documentation connected to Sales & Trading transactions
    • Assist in the maintenance and development of document templates and standards, know-how and procedures in connection with Sales & Trading transactions
    • Participate in and contribute towards Legal Department-wide strategic projects and initiatives

    Skills and experience

    • Paralegal experience
    • Experience in counterparty and other markets contracts e.g. trading agreements, terms of business
    • Experience in OTC derivatives trading documentation, such as ISDAs, GMRAs, FBFs and DRVs
    • Financial services experience, ideally in an in-house role

Our client is a leading bank in the UAE.

They are looking for an experienced Internal Control Specialist to join their team in Abu Dhabi.
With experience in Internal Controls, Risk Management and Audit with strong exposure to Financial Crime Compliance.
The successful candidate will join the risk and control function within their compliance team; covering AML, Sanctions, KYC and focusing on the internal control framework with the key risk areas.

  • The role will be based in Abu Dhabi, but they are open to hiring from outside of the UAE for the right person.
  • Must have a minimum of 4 years’ experience working in a Compliance department within a Bank.
  • An understanding of technology and Fintech is very desirable!
