Our client is a leading Regional bank across the GCC with a wide international footprint in MENA, Asia, Europe and America.

They are currently looking to a hire a strong profile to take the role of Compliance Head for International Branches.

This individual will be responsible for overseeing the Compliance function within the Banks International Branches and will be based in the UAE.

The Compliance Head for International Branches must demonstrate:

  • minimum of 15 years experience in the Banking Industry, at least 7 of which must be exposure to global compliance regulations.
  • Experience in managing Senior Compliance proffesionals across a number of countries at once.
  • Excellent understanding of International Compliance and regulations.
  • A minimum educational qualfication of a related Bachelors Degree.

Main Accountabilities:

  • Ensure effective implementation of the Bank's Compliance strategy within the International Branches.
  • Act as the first point of contact for all Compliance Officers within the Bank's International branches.
  • Ensure the Bank's global compliance program is designed to meet the requirements of the international laws and regulations.
  • Oversee the implementation of the Group Compliance program across the branches globally as well as managing the risks in line with Group Policies.
  • Oversee the establishment of fit for purpose compliance programs to identofy, prevent, detect and correct noncompliance with applicable rules and regulations.
  • Monitor all other related projects.
  • Execute any other duties as directed by the Head of Compliance.

  • C Quant/Strats Developer - Equities Trading - Associate/VP
    £70000 - £120000 per annum bonus

    C Quant/Strats Developer required - Associate/VP - Equities Trading - Business Reporting - £70k-£120k

    A market leading Quant/Strats team at a tier one investment bank require an exceptional C developer, ideally with some experience of Python to join their Equities Trading team. The team themselves work on the Equities Trading quantitative models and report dsirectly into the business. The role will provide the platform for a strong technologist and mathematician, to face off to Quants and Traders and work closely with them to implement cutting edge C models/solutions.

    This team require both exceptional technological skills (C on Windows) and mathematical/problem solving abilities (PhD in Mathematics or related subject highly desirable). Also a strong understanding of Derivative products, ideally Equities required.

    The succesful candidate can look to recieve between £70,000 and £120,000 base salary, either Associate or VP level (dependant on experience)

    This will also be backed by a bonus and package funded by the trading desk themselves.

    Requirements

    • C on Windows
    • Python highly desirable
    • Strong OO programming background
    • Derivative product knowledge (ideally Equities)
    • Strong mathematical/problem solving ability (ideally PhD level maths or similar)
    • Strong communication skills
    • Experience facing off to key business stakeholders (Quants/Traders)

They are looking to hire a Corporate Governance & Company Secretariat Specialist to be based in Dubai.

The Corporate Governance & Company Secretarial Specialist will:

Work alongside the Group Company Secretary to contribute with enabling the Bank & Group company subsidiaries to deliver upon its commercial, customer objectives and priorities, through providing company corporate governance &secretariat services, support and advice in association with the Group Company Secretary including corporate statutory compliance activities, shareholder and board actions, development and maintenance of the corporate governance framework, processes, procedures, databases and know-how.

Qualfications and Requirements:

  • You must have a Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience as a Corporate Secretary & Governance Specialist preferably in Banking & the FI industry.
  • ICSA Qualified Chartered Secretary (ICSA) or a Law Graduate.
  • Well versed in company secretarial and corporate governance regulatory process and procedures.
  • In-depth knowledge & understanding of Corporate Laws and the relevant implementation regulations.
  • Sound knowledge in international Corporate Governance Codes, Guidelines & global best practices (UK Corporate Governance Code, BASEL III, OECD, etc.…).
  • You are also expected to have a reasonable exposure of the following skills : advising, establishing and winding different types of legal entities/SPVs across the global well-known jurisdictions.
