Mcgregor Boyall are partnered with a major UAE bank who have an opportunity for a Compliance Specialist & Deputy MRLO to join the team. This is a new role and will be entirely focused on Asset Management/Private Banking. You will report to and work closely with the Head of Compliance for the function, who also acts as MRLO.
Responsibilities will involve the full range of investigations related to AML, CFT & Sanctions reporting to the Central Bank. Develop and update regulatory and statutory reporting programmes. Leverage data analysis platforms and review analytics/ modeling techniques. Customer onboarding and AML/ CTF periodic reviews.
To be suitable for this position, you will need a minimum of 5 years compliance experience. A minimum of 2 years working within Asset Management/Private Banking Compliance. Strong knowledge of UAE regulations on Anti Money-Laundering and Sanctions including ADGM/ DIFC regulatory regime. Understanding of best international standards set by governmental agencies (FATF, Wolfsberg, OFAC and others)
