This client is a leading designer and manufacturer of consumer electronic products to be used in and out of the home. As a global organisation, they have high ambitions and as the Corporate Communications Manager, your role will be dedicated to increasing visibility of their brand, products, and executives in EMEA.

Working in a fast-paced and innovative environment you will have an important role driving and enabling the international public relations agencies to generate coverage of the brand and products in consumer, technology, business and trade media targets in local markets.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Support the in-house Public Relations Manager to plan, develop and execute on programs that build a favourable public image for the brand, company executives and consumer products in EMEA
  • Serve as day-to-day project manager for EMEA PR agency programs
  • Assist with communications around PR best practices, sample pitches and other assets for external distributors and PR agencies
  • Manage logistics for a range of internal and external events, including company meetings, industry events and company celebrations
  • Help manage the product reviews and awards programs to ensure fair and positive evaluations of consumer products
  • Assist with preparing EMEA localised press releases, announcements, articles and other written communications
  • Maintain internal communications editorial calendar for EMEA
  • Develop internally facing communications, including intranet articles and videos

To be successful, you will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, English or related field is preferred, or the equivalent knowledge and / or experience
  • 5+ years’ experience in integrated communications – in an agency & / or within applicable industry
  • Interest and experience in consumer technology
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (particularly Outlook, Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Excel). Knowledge of Cision, TV Eyes and other communications platforms a plus
  • Passion for communications and experience in project management.
  • You will also be organised, team driven, and enjoy cross-cultural collaboration.

    You will:

A successful pension provider based in the heart of Canary Wharf need an Internal Communications Manager to join the team on a contract basis. Due to their ongoing initiatives and change projects across the business, they require extra support within the Internal Communications and Employee Engagement team. However, this role could be extended beyond the 6 months.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Support, deliver and contribute to the internal communications and staff engagement strategies.
  • Maintain and improve the intranet platform, along with all other channels.
  • Support various senior stakeholders within the business to support with any change initiatives taking place, responding to their urgent requests.
  • Provide communications advice on the various channels to use to achieve the highest level of engagement, either through video content, intranet content, email or via events.
  • Contribute to regular reports for senior management on internal communications activities and progress.
  • Report to the Head of Central Communications and work closely with various stakeholders across the business to embed the company culture and values.

You will have:

  • Experience with an Internal Communications function.
  • Experience using CMS, preferably SharePoint.
  • The ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business.
  • Experience supporting and developing a range of internal communications programmes.
  • Excellent writing skills.
  • The ability to use the brand tone of voice and understand how to keep employees engaged.
  • A positive and enthusiastic outlook, with the desire to get stuck in and bring creative ideas forward.
