The role

The Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst is a high tempo, dynamic, operational role that sits within the Threat Management team who are responsible for the timely and accurate production, analysis, and dissemination of cyber threat intelligence relevant to the business or sector.

The responsibilities

  • Investigating and detecting threats using all available data sources
  • Reporting Threat Intelligence Assessments that are relevant and contextualised for internal use, or for customers of our service including IOCs, TTPs and threat assessments
  • Developing methods to enhance and automate existing processes

Essential experience

  • Previous experience of cyber threat intelligence analysis
  • Deep knowledge of TTPs, exploitation of network protocols and vulnerabilities
  • Ability to demonstrate methodologies and analytical skills including Mitre Attack and cyber kill chain

Desirable experience

  • Stakeholder management experience
  • SANS/CREST certification

    • Good SQL Server essential.

    • DB/2, PL/SQL and SSAS would be a distinct advantage.

    • Proven SQL Skills including stored procedures, transactions, user defined functions, DB security management and design, SQL Server Reporting Services and advanced, cross server queries.

    • The ability to turn your hand to anything, manage your own workload and deliver - often to short deadlines.

    • Knowledge of the financial markets, broking and MIFID II, while not essential would be nice to have.

    • Demonstrated and effective communication skills in writing and verbally.

    • Open to innovative ideas/ experiences and ability to create new ideas, approaches or insights.

    • Understands ideas and has a viewpoint on the markets and economy.

    • Evidence of being comfortable working in fast paced or pressured environments.

    £750 - £775 per day + Hybrid working

    UI Developer

    Job Type: Contract - Inside
    Day Rate:
    £750-£775p.d
    Start Date:
    Flexible - ASAP - Feb 23
    Duration:
    6 months initial - Likely to extend

    We are currently recruiting a contractor for a major bank for an initial 6 month contract.

    Key Technical Skills:

    • 5+ years of experience with JavaScript and HTML
    • Extensive experience of developing Web-based UIs with React
    • Experience of Python or a JVM based language desirable
    • Understanding of HTTP and REST based architectures
    • Experience working in a Financial Services, Banking environment or related is critical for this role

    Nice to have:

    • Basic knowledge of relational databases and SQL
    • Any experience with tools such as TeamCity, Kubernetes, OpenShift and Amazon Web Services would be beneficial.
    • Open and collaborative communication
    • Experience and aptitude of Agile and DevOps approaches – e.g. continuous integration, test automation, frequent releases, containerisation
