Support Engineer required to support a large estate of applications with a household name based in Livingston. To be successful in this role you’ll have previous experience as a Support Engineer, ideally within a fast paced, enterprise level environment. This role will suit a natural problem-solver with a creative mind who enjoys the challenge of every day being different.
As a member of the team, you will help to monitor, support and maintain the Production estate. The role will involve supporting business-critical production platforms, understanding business/stakeholder requirements, whilst identifying and implementing the best possible solutions, and driving continuous improvement whilst proactively seeking out opportunities for change.
The role requires good working knowledge of SQL, Unix and Oracle Databases, excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail, great problem solving and troubleshooting ability, clear and logical approach to tasks, and ability to multitask and flexibility to manage changing priorities
