Greenfield Digital -Software and DevOps Engineer *Multiple* – Digital Fintech - DUBLIN - £70k-£110k

A leading financial services organisation are undertaking ambitious growth plans in 2019 by developing a greenfield digital banking platform. They require multiple Software and DevOps Engineers, with strong experience of large-scale systems and a strong interest in the latest technical advancements within their field at a range of experience levels.

The environment is typical of a fintech, with great levels of creativity and autonomy required, in order to best utilise this greenfield digital banking platform.

You will be building innovative solutions dedicated to automating software and infrastructure. This will include custom solutions, as well as open source DevOps tools that build and deploy automation, monitoring and data gathering for their delivery pipeline.

The DevOps Engineer will design, develop, test and implement solutions for our cloud environments. The successful candidate will work with the firm’s Architecture, Security Operations and Lines of businesses, in a hands-on environment; working with numerous and varied applications.


  • AWS cloud experience essential
  • Container Orchestration/Virtualization Experience (Docker, Kubernetes, Swarm or Mesos)
  • In-Depth OS Experience (RHEL, Ubuntu, Windows Server)
  • Dev tools experience (Github, Terraform, Jenkins, CircleCI, etc.)
  • Strong experience with resilience and performance testing environment set-up & management
  • Programming Skills (Python, Perl, Ruby, Bash or Go)
  • Working experience in an Agile environment
  • Candidates from a Development background (Java, Python, UX, etc)
  • Ability to work both as an individual and as a team

    (Ideally looking for a qualified accountancy background)

    The role:

    Strategic Level:

    • Benchmark organisational performance and recommend financial/non-financial improvements and proposals to Executive and Leadership team
    • Model the financial impact of recommendations, together with a consideration of non-financial matters and risk implications
    • Effectively build and manage effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
    • To be considered a key part of the Corporate Services team and the Finance “Go-to” person for performance improvement strategic matters
    • Provide strategic advice on improving financial performance and planning
    • Create & maintain a culture of high performance, planning and continuous improvement
    • Lead and manage projects ensuring project milestones are met
    • In addition to the Corporate Support functions, this role will take a perspective on overall organisational performance
    • Agree performance targets with respective Corporate Executive & Leadership, to help identify early warning signs, and where appropriate help the business rectify underperforming matters
    • Ensure appropriate risk reporting measures are in place and communicated to the Director of Performance Improvement

    Operational Level:

    • Working at a senior level in the Performance Improvement team you will set the highest standard of performance and conduct across the department
    • Ensure an excellent Customer Experience culture is embedded throughout the team
    • Instil a strong results orientated culture
    • Provide other relevant support and input to the wider finance team and reporting requirements
    • Be responsible for the accurate profiling of business and financial performance across the group
    • Provide guidance on Departmental KPIs (including a Balanced Scorecard) to support business performance
    • Work in partnership with the Finance Business Partners to understand financial performance improvements

    CRM Coordinator – High Street Retailer

    A leading fashion retail brand need a new CRM Coordinator, to implement their strategic initiatives across lifecycle programs, customer profiling, automation and segmentation. In this role, you will report to the CRM Manager, but also mentor the Assistants within the team.

    Your key responsibilities will be to:

    • Spearhead multiple initiatives, from initial scope to implementation, followed by analysis.
    • Assist the planning of the CRM strategy in line with the overall brand and digital strategy.
    • Review the existing CRM program’s functionality and continuously make improvements based on reports.
    • Launch innovative CRM program to acquire new and retain/reward customer across a range of channels.
    • Work closely with the wider Digital, Trade, and Brand Marketing teams.
    • Use knowledge gained through analytics to inform forecasts, budgets and CRM direction in both the short and long terms.

    You will have:

    • Experience in the retail or B2C space with an interest in the fashion industry.
    • The ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business.
    • Experience using Adobe Campaign, Salesforce or another CRM platform.
    • Experience developing and optimising lifecycle CRM campaigns, primarily via email.
    • The ability to analyse data and reports to drive strategic direction.
    • Strong mathematical skills and confidence using Excel for reporting, analytics and forecasting.

    My client are a major investment bank in London seeking a C# Contract Developer for an immediate start within the Credit area of their business. Working on Real-time applications with a thread-safe and scalable in Memory cache. Using C# with Javascript UI

    The successful candidate will cover all aspects of the real-time web application back-end including in-memory cache and CQN repositories. In addition to the core book of work, the successful candidate will take the lead of the development of new business modules and functionalities potentially leading other developers assigned to the same Epic.

    Excellent ability in:

    • Some form of UI experience (ideally Angular/ React/ Typescript)
