I’m working with a growing E-commerce company based in Leeds. They are looking for a DevOps Engineer to come on board to join an integral team to help enhance and maintain their AWS based infrastructure.

They are looking for someone who is wanting to take that next step in their career. Ideally, you will have experience working in a DevOps/Sys admin environment. You will need experience working in Linux, creating CI/CD pipelines and some experience working on Public Cloud.

They are willing to train and mentor the successful candidate and are a modern forward-thinking company who always invest in the latest technologies.

They want an enthusiastic individual who wants to take that next step by gaining experience working with Cloud tech (GCP and AWS) and container technologies e.g. Docker and Kubernetes.

This is a permanent position and the client is looking to pay around £45,000 – 50,000. Also, flexible working and WFH option is available to those that want it.

Skills required:

  • DevOps Background
  • Automation tooling –Ansible, Chef, Terraform etc.
  • CI/CD – Jenkins, Bamboo
  • Some cloud experience ideally AWS or GCP
  • Great communications and keen leaner

  • Investment Restriction Analyst

    New contract position with a Tier 1 Global Bank is the Asset Management Arm. Seeking Investment Restriction Analyst for 12 month contract.

    This position is at Analyst level but paying competitively in the current market and based in Canary Wharf.

    Some of the major challenges you will need to overcome will be; interpreting applicable, current laws/regulations into code-able rules, work and manage in a business transformation environment, understanding the capability and limitation of CRD (and/or similar systems) through knowledge of data sources.

    Responsibilities include:

    - ensure all regulatory, client and internal restrictions and guidelines are correctly monitored on a pre and post trade basis.

    - Assess fund and institutional mandates, coding into a monitoring tool and feeding back the results

    - Liaise with senior stakeholders

    Person Specification:

    - Experienced using Charles River Compliance or similar monitoring tool.

    - Background in Compliance

    - Good understanding of Financial Markets, Investment Vehicles, Asset Classes and Benchmark Indices

    - Investment qualification desirable.

  • SAP EWM Consultant, Contract, 3 Month, £510 pr/day, Cambridge
    £490 - £510 per day

    I am currently representing a global management consulting and professional services firm in Cambridge that provides strategy, consulting, digital, technology and operations services. They are seeking a SAP EWM consultant to work on site and support tickets fixing and resolution.

    The experienced SAP EWM functional consultant is to work alongside the existing SAP Functional Team in supporting the Hypercare phase of a SAP ECC Suite on HANA implementation - Project is currently in Hypercare with the focus being on defect ticket resolution, business upskilling and system improvements to enhance user experience.

    The contract is will be a 3 month period with potential to extend at a rate of £480 - £510 pr/day.

    As the ideal candidate, you will have a functional test background with the enthusiasm to learn new ways of working. You will work in a fast paced environment with fellow colleagues in the testing and development teams. You will need excellent communication skills, great attention to detail and an ability to work to tight timeframes.

    • Minimum of 3 years’ testing experience, regression & functional
    • Proficiency with SQL and/or Oracle database queries
    • Experience in planning, preparing, writing and maintaining test scripts
    • Experience in creating and updating user documentation and help files
    • Attention to detail, ensuring accurate reporting of issues
    • Innovative and ability to voice ideas
    • Handle pressure well and negotiate effectively
