I’m working with a growing E-commerce company based in Leeds. They are looking for a DevOps Engineer to come on board to join an integral team to help enhance and maintain their AWS based infrastructure.

They are looking for someone who is wanting to take that next step in their career. Ideally, you will have experience working in a DevOps/Sys admin environment. You will need experience working in Linux, creating CI/CD pipelines and some experience working on Public Cloud.

They are willing to train and mentor the successful candidate and are a modern forward-thinking company who always invest in the latest technologies.

They want an enthusiastic individual who wants to take that next step by gaining experience working with Cloud tech (GCP and AWS) and container technologies e.g. Docker and Kubernetes.

This is a permanent position and the client is looking to pay around £45,000 – 50,000. Also, flexible working and WFH option is available to those that want it.

Skills required:

  • DevOps Background
  • Automation tooling –Ansible, Chef, Terraform etc.
  • CI/CD – Jenkins, Bamboo
  • Some cloud experience ideally AWS or GCP
  • Great communications and keen leaner

  • Python Software Engineer, VP - Greenfield Risk Engine - £130k
    £90000 - £130000 per annum bonus

    Python Software Engineer, VP (Cross Training Considered) - Greenfield Risk Engine - Tier 1 Investment Bank - up to £130k plus bonus

    An experienced Python software engineer, VP, is required to join a market leading tier one investment bank in London. The particular platform deals with risk calculations for Traders, Quants and Sales teams across the bank and is undegoing a huge re-generation project, which will involve a lot of greenfield work.

    Given the experience level required for the role, the succesful Python software engineer will be expected to actively engage in decisions around; design, architecture and the future direction of the Risk Engine and the team supporting it. The role will involve both BAU and the ability to innovatively work on the development of Greenfield ideas and solutions.

    If succesful the VP Python Software Engineer can expect to recieve £90k - £130k base plus package and healthy bonus


    • Ideally experience with OO Python (may also consider strong C ,Java, C# willing to cross-train)
    • Experience dealing with a variety of business users/stakeholders
    • Experience handling full software development lifecycle

  • Python/Java Machine Learning/AI Developer - Finance - £55k-£85k
    £55000 - £85000 per annum bonus

    Python/Java Machine Learning/AI Developer - London based Brokerage - up to £85k

    Python/Java Developer required to work on the next generation of artificial intelligence(AI)/machine learning technology at a leading financial services brokerage in London. The team operate like a fintech within the organisation, focussing on creating cutting edge technical solutions within a collaborative and innovative environment, much of the work is greenfield.

    As a Python/Java Developer within this team you will also have extensive exposure to; Cloud AWS, javascript with react and openfin applications. This is an expanding team with a lot of investment being invested into their development with the AI/machine learning space too. The role will also give a strong Python/Java technologist exposure to the financial services market and provide an understanding of how large transactions are carried out and processed.

    The successful Python/Java Developer can look to receive between £55,000 and £85,000 base, plus a healthy package and bonus.


    • Commercial Python or Java development experience
    • Experience with Cloud platforms, ideally AWS
    • Experience of working on the full software development lifecycle
    • Ideally experience or an interest in AI/Machine Learning
    • Financial Services experience desirable, but not essential

  • C Quant/Strats Developer - Equities Trading - Associate/VP
    £70000 - £120000 per annum bonus

    C Quant/Strats Developer required - Associate/VP - Equities Trading - Business Reporting - £70k-£120k

    A market leading Quant/Strats team at a tier one investment bank require an exceptional C developer, ideally with some experience of Python to join their Equities Trading team. The team themselves work on the Equities Trading quantitative models and report dsirectly into the business. The role will provide the platform for a strong technologist and mathematician, to face off to Quants and Traders and work closely with them to implement cutting edge C models/solutions.

    This team require both exceptional technological skills (C on Windows) and mathematical/problem solving abilities (PhD in Mathematics or related subject highly desirable). Also a strong understanding of Derivative products, ideally Equities required.

    The succesful candidate can look to recieve between £70,000 and £120,000 base salary, either Associate or VP level (dependant on experience)

    This will also be backed by a bonus and package funded by the trading desk themselves.

Network Security Engineer

£50000 - £60000 per annum benefits

Network Security Engineer- Checkpoint, CCSA, CCSE, LAN/WAN, WAF, Palo Alto, Juniper, Fortinet, SIEM, Linux, IDS/IPS- Permanent- Leeds

A client based in central Leeds are looking for a Network Security Engineer to join the team as they organically grow their firm due to demand in the market. This is an ideal role for an already experienced Network Security Engineer who has extensive hands on experience of delivering security solutions, and can bring subject matter expertise with a range of tools.


  • Educated to Degree level in a discipline such as Information Technology, Computer Science or similar, or have equivalent professional qualifications
  • Experience in a Network Security Engineer, Cyber Security Engineer role or similar position, or coming from a 2nd/3rd Line Support Engineer or Network Analyst role with a broad knowledge of the tools listed
  • MUST be CCSA or CCSE certified, or possessing the required skills and knowledge of Checkpoint to sit the professional exams
  • Solid background working with other Web Application Firewalls (WAF) such as Juniper and/or Fortinet
  • Previous work with Palo Alto firewalls
  • Experience working with CISCO ASAs and CISCO FirePower
  • CCNA or CCNP certifications preferred but not essential
  • Strong skills with core network infrastructure including LAN, WAN and WLAN
  • Excellent knowledge of core routing and switching- MPLS, OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, L3VPN
  • Previous work with SIEM tools such as SolarWinds, ArcSight, Splunk, LogRhythm, AlienVault, Thycotic, or similar, is preferred but not essential
  • Experience working with Authentication, Password Access Management (PAM) or Identity Access Management (IAM) tools such as CyberArk, SailPoint, Centrify, BeyondTrust or similar, is preferred but not essential
  • Working knowledge of Linux commands is desirable


  • Design and install a range of cyber security solutions, using a range of technologies and products
  • Work on a daily shift rota, including a 1 week in 4 weekend on-call requirement
  • Provide experience in a range of technical situations, with a focus on creating a collaborative team environment and knowledge sharing culture
  • Contribute to the mentoring and training of junior colleagues
  • Visit client sites for technical installations, as and when required
