DevOps Engineer(Linux, Python/Shell, Jenkins, Ansible)

DevOps engineer required for a Global financial services clients Glasgow based office. This position is an important hire for a growing function and the role would see you involved in the maintenance and improvement of existing systems across the platform globally.

This role would excite you if you have a genuine interest in DevOps and working with the most up to date technologies . You would be working with various teams across the estate – Operations, Architecture, software developers and fellow engineers so strong communication skills are essential. You will be a go-to resource within you space and your opinion and expertise will be valued and also relied upon to help deliver on projects.

Technically you will be comfortable with:
Automation and integration using either Python and/or Shell
Solid Linux/Unix Sys admin skills
Version control and deployment – Git ,Jenkins or Jira
Config management – ideally orchestration using Ansible but similar tools considered.

This role sits within an agile team who are embracing continuous delivery and continuous integration principles. The role also works with teams globally so previous experience at enterprise level would be a massive bonus.

  • UX/QA Analyst- Banking- London- Contract- £200-£250 per day

    I am currently looking for a UX/QA Analyst to join a top bank based in London. The role will be a contract role and will be working on a new project within the business.

    The UXQA Analyst role involved reviewing documentation sent to the UXQA team by the UX designers (Axure file and UI Specs). This role is ideal for Business Information Technology (BIT) or Law (LLB) Graduates who are used to processing large volumes of information; and provide rationale about its context of use.

    The UXQA analyst will create the required functional specification documentation.

    Integrated / embedded in project team.

    Attend / dial in to meeting discussing the project requirements.

    Communicating with project stakeholders to ensure all the interactions, exception scenarios are detailed in the functional specification.

    Creating the Axure File.

    Generating the UI Specs.

    Ensuring the UI Spec is sent for QA review with the other members of the QA team.

    Send out the approved UI Spec to the project team.


    Contract role

    £200- £250 per day

    Location- London
