Seeking a Diversity & Inclusion Lead.

Operating within the commercial sector this role will ensure that D&I strategy within HR will be entwined with all aspects of the employee journey from talent acquisition to engagement of existing employees.

As an organisation, diversity & inclusion is a core part of the agenda and my client is seeking someone who is able to come on board and ensure they are a thought leader in this space. The role will involve driving positive action on inclusion in all areas of HR including recruitment, learning & development, reward, employment policies, HR processes and onboarding. You will lead the full implementation of this strategy across the business and they will be seeking an individual with a highly commercial and creative and innovative approach to set and define best practice in this area focused on all dimensions of diversity as well as practical implementations .

The role will include working with key networks internally and externally to set the diversity agenda and weave it through all of the talent and HR programmes within the organisation.

You should have a strong passion and drive and experience of leading and defining the D&I agenda within a complex commercial organisations and be an innovator within this space.

    Technical Team Lead/Head of Equities Technology (Java) – Buy Side – London/Remote

    An industry leading buy side fund/wealth manager are looking for a strong technologist and leader to join their rapidly expanding London Equities Trading division. This team are at the forefront of the development for funds European platform development, developing the core components and tools used by the Traders and Wealth Managers across the business.

    The system is primarily modern Core Java, implemented with a microservices architecture and includes deployment to the cloud using AWS. Most of the development that the team carries out is Greenfield and they are constantly striving to use the latest and most exciting technology that the industry has to offer.

    This role will comprise of a number of tasks:

    • Technical leadership, including strong input to design, architecture and future direction
    • Hands on development, daily coding
    • Management and guidance of the wider development team, including hiring

    The successful candidate can look to receive between £115k and £135k base plus the potential of a very healthy bonus, total compensation and benefits package.

    Requirements Summary

    • Experience leading technical teams within a business facing environment (buy side preferable)
    • Hands on development experience with Core Java, Cloud Tech (ideally AWS), microservices
    • TDD (Strong emphasis on testing)
    • Understanding of Equities Trading (experience facing off to Traders/Wealth Managers)
    • System Architecture and Design experience

  • Java Fixed Income eTrading Developer - Contract - £800pd
    £600 - £800 per day

    Java Fixed Income eTrading Developer – Contract – Outside IR35 – up to £800pd

    A leading investment bank in the city of London are looking to bring on multiple contract resources to help enhance their build out of a very successful Fixed Income eTrading application suite. They require Java Developers with low latency systems experience, also ideally experience of working for a Fixed Income desk (Interest Rates, Bonds, Repo), however other asset classes will be considered.

    The team have recently completed a largescale migration from a legacy “off the shelf” system and are now looking to continue the build out of in-house functionality, involving a lot of greenfield projects. Also this can provide the opportunity for the right individual to lead a team and provide design and architecture direction for the entire eTrading platform.

    Paying up to £800 per day

    Requirements overview:

    • Experienced core java developer
    • Low Latency systems experience
    • Product Knowledge (preferably fixed income based)
    • Ability to work as an individual and as a team, engaging with stakeholders outside the team
    • Willing to work in a fast paced environment, with Traders, Quants and Trading Desk
