EMEA Group Policy Lead

£600 - £650 per day

My client is an Investment Management business who are seeking an EMEA Policy Lead to join them for a 12 month Maternity cover. The current role includes reporting to the head of UK Public policy to lead the firms engagement with UK policy makers, regulators, several NGOs and trade associations on sustainable finance. The current agenda is multi-facetted ranging from climate reporting across the UK's financial ecosystem to the asset management approach to social criteria and representing Public policy in the firms working group. The role also requires close cooperation with the Stewardship team to prioritise both UK policy reviews in this space and European policy engagements on Corporate Governance, especially the newly proposed CSRD. Finally the role also requires leading policy engagement with Nordic regulators on a broad basis working with Nordic business heads and the co-chair of continental Europe


Role Responsibility:
• Ability to understand and support on upcoming policy issues, cover a wide range of topics
• Key focus is on stewardship and sustainability
• Understanding of sustainability and engineering in the UK – what is happening in the banks, FCA working close with external agencies
• Thinking through what is priority policy and working with the business to provide provision
• Lead on stewardship on the EU


Ideal candidate:
• 5 years Policy background
• Experience/Knowledge of stewardship in the UK and sustainability
• Someone who understands the UK exit strategy and the impact this will have on sustainability inside and outside the EU
• It would be ideal if they have any cross over experience policy within the Nordics
• Strong communicator who can work with businesses and senior stakeholders to provide provisions
• Experience of dealing with stakeholders at VP level
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight, take ownership of issues and solutions-orientated
• Strong organisation and co-ordination skills and attention to detail with ability to keep track of multiple issues/deliverables in a fast moving environment;
• Analytical capabilities to be able to grip and run with own policy areas;
• Writing skills, to be able to provide solid first versions of executive briefings

  • IT Business Analyst - Capital Markets
    £50000 - £75000 per annum + + benefits

    My leading consulting client are looking to bring on multiple IT Business Analysts with strong captial markets experience.

    Candidates should have:

    • Experience working in the financial services industry as Business Analyst
    • Knowledge within Capital Markets (fixed income, equities, FX, derivatives etc).
    • Demonstrable evidence of analyzing and documenting complex business processes
    • Excellent verbal communication skills; facilitating working meetings, building credibility and trust with stakeholders, negotiating contentious issues with stakeholders and escalating issues as promptly
    • Excellent business documenting skills, able to convey complex information with objectivity and brevity

    Test analyst (Data) required to support a growing BI Test functions for a national logistics company based in central London. To be successful in this role you will have previous enterprise level experience and a proven record of testing data into the cloud. The role will involve:
