I am currently looking for an Equities Application Support Analyst (Fidessa) to join a top investment based in London. The role will be a permanent role and will be working on a new project within the business.

Responsibilities:

Level 1 & 2 support of Front office trading platform

System monitoring and start-of-day/end-of-day checkouts

Client on-boarding and migration

Analysis and design of business-driven projects within the equities trading space

Support of several in house applications/tools

Facilitating market access for our Algorithmic trading platform

Testing & co-ordination of testing of software deployments

Assisting the traders to get the most out of the platform

Dealing with exchanges, venues and clients to further our aims

Experience required:

Experienced Equities Applications Support Analyst

Strong and demonstrable experience with Fidessa, including multiple areas of the system (several of EMMA, TOP, BEAM, IMAR, FTW, RSP, Auto Quoting, and CTAC).

Significant exposure to multiple trading areas, e.g. High Touch, Low Touch, Program Trading, Algorithmic trading as well as functions such as Trade Advertisements, Trade Reporting, RSP, and transaction reporting.

Knowledge / Experience of FIX protocol an advantage

Helpful to be able to use SQL to extract and manipulate data

Strong Excel skills, Pivot tables, VBA and alike would be of use.

Front office experience within a sell side participant an advantage.

    The role will provide support to business unit heads, and will contribute to a number of key processes (Budgeting, Business Case Analysis, Monthly Finance MI etc.)
