Head of Compliance - Job Spec


To ensure that business activities of France Branch are carried out in accordance with local rules and regulations and to be the point of contact for the local regulator. The role will involve liaising with Group Compliance (Head Office) on a regular basis to provide advice and updates as well as assisting Group wide compliance initiatives.

Manage and monitor compliance function of France Branch and assess the effectiveness and efficiency of the control, risk management and governance process in the Branch to ensure compliance with Internal/Group Policies & Procedures and local regulations.

Be the person in charge of:

  • Managing internal control.
  • Monitoring compliance.
  • Supervising that MLRO reports suspicious transactions to TRACFIN.
  • Implementing and updating anti-money laundering and terrorism financing policy.

Tasks:

Manage all compliance related requests and ensuring alignment with local regulatory requirements for the Branch’s activities and business via concise, accurate and relevant compliance reporting including whistleblowing activities, breach reporting and reporting of suspicious activities.

Develop and manage a risk-based Compliance Monitoring Programme (CMP) and ensure reviews are in alignment with the best practices and properly implemented.

Ensure that the Branch complies with International, European, French and FAB’s Sanctions policies and procedures by controlling MLRO effective monitoring of transactions and ensuring that all staff are appropriately trained.

    My client, a large bank in London are seeking a strong Principal Architect to work directly with the Head of Architecture and will play a key role with leading the technical architecture practice, which will include the strategy, ongoing governance and tooling.

    The Principal Architect will play a key part in setting the direction for the architecture practice, as well as leading the development of the technical strategies and road-maps.

    The ideal candidate must have:

    • Strong Enterprise Architecture experience working across multiple domains

    • Understanding of digital architecture
    • Cloud services experience

  • Network Administrator
    £70000 - £75000 per annum + Bonus

    City hedge fund requires skilled Network Administrator. The Network Administrator will join the thriving UK arm of this international business and will ideally have previous hands on experience within a trading environment, hedge fund services provider , FinTech or Financial services organisation.

    The Network Administrator will come with at least 3 years of experience supporting large-scale enterprise or low latency networks, Strong knowledge of switching, routing (BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VPLS, IPSEC) and multicast (IGMP, PIM) protocols and hands on Linux experience (installing services and packages, network configuration, troubleshooting)

    We welcome strong knowledge of monitoring tools such as Grafana, PRTG, Splunk and associated protocols and the Network Administrator should have good scripting skills in Python or equivalent . Experience with wireless networks and knowledge of RF principles are strong desired.

    The Network Administrator will be a strong communicator, comfortable engaging with stakeholders of all levels across regional and global offices. Certifications such as CCNP or equivalent are preferred along with the ability to travel , 1-2 times a year , to international sites.
