Front office application support analyst
International banking group is seeking a Front Office Application Support Consultant to join their CIT Business Support Team at their office in London. This is a 6 month contract with a good chance of extension. This is a great opportunity to develop your skills and experience in tech with a reputable business.
The role will involve supporting a commodity trading application by analysing and resolving production support technical and functional issues, logging incidents, and release management. It will also involve Advising the core development team of necessary bug fixes and enhancements whilst proactively monitoring the system.
The consultant will have:
- Good knowledge of script languages and Windows environment.
- Intermediate level relational database and SQL skills.
- Windows infrastructure technical skills.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
The analyst will work onsite and cover Monday- Friday shift patterns between the hours of 07.30 and 19.30.

A Global Financial Services provider working at the heart of the world’s financial, energy and commodities markets covering FX, Rates, Credit, Equities and Energy & Commodities are looking for a Senior Platform Services Analyst to join their team in London.
Clients include banks, insurance companies, pension and hedge funds, asset managers, energy producers and refiners, as well as risk and compliance managers and charities.
Responsibilities:
- Working within a shift rota to provide support coverage from 7am – 6pm
- Contribute towards ‘follow the sun’ support model, working closely with global teams in APAC and US to ensure pre-market health checks are performed for each region
- Perform regional start of day health checks to ensure all members are connected to the platform
- Utilising proprietary tools, provide daily application support and troubleshooting for platform members and internal users, escalating to Development teams appropriately
- Daily interaction with all internal stakeholders with regards to support issues

Skills:
