You will be working in a brand new team that will work closely with theFX algo trading quants on the design and development of high performance trading strategies for the FX algo business. Whilst this is a development reasonable maths skills will also be required. The team are very happy to consider candidates with a strong interest in algorithmic programming who have an in depth knowledge of core Java including the internal workings of the JVM. You will also be required to demonstrate solid problem solving skills. You will be responsible for building high performance trading systems as well as working on the design and development of algo trading strategies. Any level of experience will be considered but some banking is essential.

Senior Compliance Assurance Manager is part of the Compliance Assurance team, a second line function.
Working as part of the Compliance Assurance Team, you’ll work with the other colleagues across the organisation to deliver compliance assurance reports, and external assurance reporting. The role doesn’t have direct reports at present, you’ll have the opportunity to support the development of team members through oversight, training and coaching.
As Senior Compliance Assurance Manager, you’ll work with the Head of Compliance Assurance in the development and delivery of both sides of the firms compliance assurance programme and methodology.
You’ll take part to the design and delivery of a risk based annual Compliance Assurance Plan, including the development of a regulatory risk universe.
You’ll be responsible for producing quality reporting to the Executive Committee, Audit Committee and senior leadership team. You’ll have previous experience in delivering assurance in a second line of defence function (internal audit, surveillance, assurance or monitoring) as well as financial services (Pension experience is useful but not essential).
