This exciting role will see you analysing, selecting and driving the roll-out of the latest software and devops tools. Using your in-depth knowledge of the best tools on the market and in development (e.g. Monit, Nagios, Ansible, ElasticSearch, Jenkins, Docker, Git, Logstash, Kibana) you will translate these to map the future state vision of the business.

This role will really suit someone:-

  • With a strong software development, devops or automation type background (any considered from Java / C++ / Python / Test Automation / Performance Engineering)

We are looking to recruit an experienced field based Windows Infrastructure Engineer. This is a broad role in which you will be working on a broad range of IT infrastructure and desk top incidents that require an engineer on site. This can range from the installation of Servers, laptops, network devices including Switches, Routers and Firewalls. Equally you could be trouble shooting incidents both independently or with the support of office based 3rd and 4th line engineers.
To be a success in this role you will need at least a 2nd line capability in the Windows Stack of Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange and be familiar with working on a virtualised infrastructure ideally using Hyper V and or VMWare.
