Global Head of Trader Voice - BT and IPC Trader Voice systems – Call Recording - Cisco Call Manager – Automation – Cloud - London

Permanent – up to £120,000 + benefits, bonus

An opportunity has arisen to join a leading financial services client in the City. The Head of Trader Voice is responsible for the Global Trader Voice platforms and transformation programme to next gen technology.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage a team of Globally Distributed Voice Engineers
  • Provide technical expertise for Trader voice services and platforms
  • Validate Global Designs and Implement Next Generation Trader Voice Infrastructure and associated technologies
  • Complete the transformation to next gen platforms and decommission any existing legacy platforms
  • Key SME on Trader Voice regulatory and compliance technologies and services
  • Responsible for managing key relationships with Trader Voice Technology partners and vendors
  • Responsible for Trader Voice Private Wire strategy to reduce costs and migrate to SIP based technologies
  • Provide business escalation point of contact for production issues associated with Trader Voice technologies or services
  • Drive improved processes and automation across the Trader Voice technology and service landscape
  • Validate and test global standard designs
  • Evaluation of market trends towards the development of a clear service and technology roadmaps
  • Ensure that you understand the risks and controls on your department

Skills and experience required:

  • Experience in a similar role at combining Engineering Manager/SME Responsibilities
  • In depth knowledge of Trader Voice and enterprise technologies Including BT and IPC Trader Voice systems, Verint, Verba, Redbox and Nice Voice Recording systems.
  • Detailed knowledge of Voice Private Wires, marker and vendor including SIP, ARD, MRD, Hoot ccts.
  • Detailed knowledge of Trader voice control requirements, Compliance, Risk and Regulation including
  • Knowledge and understanding of Cloud based services such as Cloud-9, Global Relay etc

    We are working exclusively with one of the most revolutionary tech companies in Dublin today!

    They are scaling rapidly and looking for Cloud Support Engineers on a permanent basis.

    As a Cloud Engineer, You will be supporting channel availability on a 24x7 basis for the cloud-native technology platform for one of their dedicated lines of business.

    As this is a Cloud Support Engineer position, day to day, you will be expected to -

    • Supporting the platform on a day to day basis

    • Supporting change development and delivery through the CI/CD pipeline

    • Help solve complex and mission-critical problems, internally and externally.

    The role

    The company are expanding their cloud division and looking for DevOps Engineers to be part of their journey.

    As a DevOps Engineer, You will design and build cutting-edge infrastructure, cloud-based software products running on AWS (Amazon Web Services). You will also need knowledge of Kubernetes and Terraform.

    The responsibilities

    • building and setting up new development tools and AWS infrastructure.
    • understanding the needs of stakeholders and conveying this to developers.
    • working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes.
    • testing and examining code written by others and analysing results.
    • Work closely with key stakeholders to capture, analyze, and derive DevOps requirements
    • Implement and stay abreast of Cloud and DevOps industry best practices and tooling


    • DevOps Engineer background (or something similar)

    • AWS cloud experience (Amazon Web Services) - Lambda, EC2, RDS, S3, Redshift, VPC, IAM etc

    • Infrastructure as Code - Terraform, CloudFormation

    • Kubernetes (K8S) experience

    • Coding/programming experience - Java, Python, Go, Scala


    • Any certificates in AWS (AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator)
