My client is a tier 1 bank seeking a Recruitment Manager for Global Banking for a rolling 6 month contract with likely extensions. The Recruitment Manager is responsible for the operational execution of end to end recruitment to Global Banking for the EMEA region.

Fully accountable for delivering to the hiring numbers required by the divisions, you will both proactively manage and undertake hands-on recruitment activity to ensure needs are fulfilled.

The scope and remit of this role includes permanent recruitment at all levels within the division. You will oversee the delivery of temporary recruitment to their respective divisions whilst engaging the graduate recruitment team in order to be fully aware on all recruitment activity taking place and able to provide updates to stakeholders.

Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications

  • Experience recruiting within Global Banking & Markets
  • Proven experience of proactively managing recruitment (pragmatic and hands on in approach) within an investment bank/retail bank (matrix structured) set up
  • Excellent knowledge of the recruitment market and well networked across the sector
  • Thorough understanding of resourcing and recruitment (tools/techniques and methodologies)
  • Credible and able to build effective working relationships with internal stakeholders, agency suppliers and search firms in order to identify effective partners
  • Strong team player – flexible in approach and willing to step in and support colleagues as required
  • Personable, engaging and able to impact effectively at all levels
  • Able to work under own initiative, driving activites forward and delivering results
  • Creative, able to develop ideas into practical initiatives
  • Good understanding of employment law and HR
  • Operational understanding of recruitment technology

My client is seeking a business support specialist to work as part of the International Talent Acquisition (TA) Operations team for a 12 month contract based in either London or Chester. You will be a member of the teams that supports the recruitment and talent acquisition team utilising the best fit technology and driving operational efficiency around the hiring needs. This includes providing subject matter expertise around technology, vendor management and outsourcing, process improvement, business control and project/change delivery management

The role supports the EMEA Talent Acquisition (TA) Business Manager and provides broad overall business management support, to include:

  • Ensure TA teams are provided with the necessary tools and system access to perform their roles, including system access reviews and supporting the onboarding of new resources across the team.
  • Support TA teams with usage of vendors – advising on processes to source, on-board, manage and pay vendors effectively and in compliance with enterprise standards.
  • Support team training and upskilling activities.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and maintenance of TA process documentation, supporting process adherence and improvement.
  • Driving a culture of risk identification and management across TA teams.
  • Produce data and reports to support the management of the TA function.
  • Assist with managing and developing International Talent policies, contracts, programs and guidelines, facilitating changes and required approvals.
  • Support project work as required, both at a regional level and as regional representative on global projects.

In order to be successful in the role you will have:

  • Experience of working within an HR Operations support function, preferably aligned to the resourcing function and within financial services
  • Strong expertise and knowledge around resourcing processes and how to optimise them
  • Efficient organisation skills with the ability to plan and prioritise multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced complex environment
  • Ability to build strong relationships with a range of stakeholders
  • Detail orientated with the ability to analyse and interpret data.
  • Proven ability to engage a wide variety of audiences in a collaborative and results-oriented manner.
  • Intermediate Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Office skills.
