Head of FX Options IT - Lead C++ Developer - Contract
This role is a contract role, Inside of IR35, paying up to £800 per day
My client within a fast paced, front office FX team at a leading Investment Bank are looking to hire a new Head of FX options IT.
This role involves working very closely with the Quants and Traders mainly with the FX business unit.
The successful candidate will have exceptional software development and analytical skills with experience working with and swiftly responding to trading teams.
Skills needed;
- Strong leadership capabilities
- Exceptional C++ development skills
- In depth knowledge of FX options
- Knowledge of pricing and risk in other asset classes
- Experience using C# and UI development would be a bonus
- Ability to communicate efficiently with the business

Seasoned Java developers with a strong computer science background required to work on a highly complex, powerful real-time system. - Strong hands on object oriented coding ability in Java (or Scala)
