Head of Market Data
The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of market data operations and system development and will need to have an in-depth understanding the market data provider landscape, with strong techncial experience and the ability to lead a team of engineers to build the next generation of market data systems.
Experience
· Knowledge of Bloomberg BPIPE, Bloomberg Data License and other vendor platforms
· Knowledge of exchange and 3rd party data vendors across a broad range of asset classes
· Ability to understand Real-time and historical data
Skills
· Experience of leading, motivating and engaging a team of engineers
· Proven influencing, negotiation and time management skills and be able to work independently and meet deadlines
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal) skills
· Ability to work in a multi-cultural, international environment and enjoy dealing with team members at all levels across multiple locations.
· Approachable with a consistent open and friendly approach to staff of all levels.

Senior Platform Services Analyst
Senior Platform Services Analyst – London – Hybrid
A Global Financial Services provider working at the heart of the world’s financial, energy and commodities markets covering FX, Rates, Credit, Equities and Energy & Commodities are looking for a Senior Platform Services Analyst to join their team in London.
Clients include banks, insurance companies, pension and hedge funds, asset managers, energy producers and refiners, as well as risk and compliance managers and charities.
Responsibilities:
- Working within a shift rota to provide support coverage from 7am – 6pm
- Contribute towards ‘follow the sun’ support model, working closely with global teams in APAC and US to ensure pre-market health checks are performed for each region
- Perform regional start of day health checks to ensure all members are connected to the platform
- Utilising proprietary tools, provide daily application support and troubleshooting for platform members and internal users, escalating to Development teams appropriately

- Utilising proprietary tools, provide daily application support and troubleshooting for platform members and internal trade desks, escalating to development teams appropriately
- Fulfilling client customisation requests within algorithmic trading systems and MTF platform
