A key customer of mine is seeking someone who can drive, implement, and push forward this key component on a global scale, guiding a small team into the cloud.

The role:

Lead Engineering designs exceeding business requirements to meet Collaboration and Productivity objectives.

Provide guidance and expertise to ensure project roadmaps encompass the required controls while delivering the colleague experience.

Own the medium-term and long-term Engineering strategy and design for Digital Workplace Services Team in conjunction with the security team.

Work collaboratively with stakeholders to plan the future of the Digital Workplace.

Assist in managing project deliverables to meet their objectives against quality (including security), budget control, and time management.

Design and innovate processes, standardization, and progressive governance practices

Identity areas of improvement within the IT landscape, engineering solutions, and guiding the execution of those designs through successful implementation.

Drive innovation through implementing and enhancing automated deployments approaches.

Practice continuous learning through attending company and industry training.

Harvest a culture of curiosity and challenge across the engineering community.

Skills required:

Engineering/Architectural knowledge and proven experience with Microsoft Azure, Office 365, M365, and Endpoint security solutions (E5).

Extensive knowledge and experience in the M365 /O365 environment, including Microsoft Teams, Exchange Online, SharePoint/OneDrive, and Viva.

Knowledge of Data centric controls, including MIP/AIP/OME and data retention.

Experience providing service using B2B and B2C solutions

Extensive knowledge of meeting room/hybrid working solutions.

Managing mobile collaboration using MDM and MAM

Experience with non-O365 collaboration tools such as Zoom, Slack, GSuite etc

Application email integration, bulk email/communication methodology, and email security gateway solutions.

Knowledge/experience of Azure DevOps service.

    • They need someone to implement secure architecture solutions in collaboration with engineering teams as well as to understand and articulate the impact of vulnerabilities on existing and future designs and systems, and how easy or difficult it will be to exploit these vulnerabilities.
    • There are many further respnsiblities and projects which are currently under an NDA and would be detailed in later interview stages.

    Essential experience

    • Strong understanding and previous experience with cloud ecosystems (GCP and/or AWS)
    • Strong knowledge on building scalable solution in the Cloud
    • Experience on defining and deploying infrastructure as a code
    • Threat modelling or security design review experience
